Not for very long. I live in Alaska and people have gone into freezing water. They can last about 2 minutes is all.

You wouldn't last long. So the heart wouldn't go on for too long. More likely scenario would be that it'd stop pretty quickly.

in all honesty you'd die from Hypothermia within mere moments. and yep my heart would go on straight to the bottom of the ocean along with my cold frigid dead body.

i would die out of mortal fear while falling into the ocean.
i wouldn't even need the cold to finish me off. heart attack of the anticipation would be plenty.

/me really don't like cold.
