I have a Canon digital cam, and my problem is my computer crashed one day, and I lost everything on it, including the program to install my digital camera pictures, and I lost my disk to re-install it :( I still have the usb cord..Is there something I can download off a site so I can upload my pics? Or do I need to go buy a new disk?
Thanks!

If you go to other countries, they have traditional dress, dances, ceremonies, rituals, foods, and other things that are specific to their own countires. Americans don't really have anything like that do we? Did we just steal the culture from other countries?

I have been doing some research and have pretty much settled on something by Logitech. Beyond that, I have discovered that the two models that fall within my price range are the Harmony 520 and 550. Can anyone tell me which of these is the better choice ?

I have an older JVC tv, a newer Sony home theatre system, a dual Yamaha tape deck, a Sony boom box, a Magnavox DVD/VCR player, and a Rogers digital cable box. I don't have a cd player yet but that will coming soon, I hope. The Sony theatre system came with a pretty decent universal remote but the problem is that it doesn't have designated buttons for the designated buttons on the cable remote (colour-coated menu buttons).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you can suggest something cheaper but just as reliable, I would be even more appreciative.

Thanks a lot !

All fishermen/women have that story about the one that got away. What was yours & how much do you think it weighed?

For me,it was a large mouth bass weighing somewhere between 9-12 lbs. that I had been going after for over a month. Then, the moment happened. He hit my line,I jerked to hook him & the fight ensued.I just knew it was him.I was ecstatic! (maybe too much so which is probably why I lost him) About halfway in,he comes up out of the water, (which was a beautiful sight) wiggled pretty, (as a taunt) spit my bait out, (I could've sworn he smiled as he looked at me) & plunged back into the water.I stood there stunned, (that moment we've all felt) then a bit angry, (a lot angry actually lol) at myself for losing him.Yet,I had to smile to myself too cause that one that got away had outfished me! lol

What is your fish story? I'd love to hear it!

It seems like virtually every anomoly can now be placed on the fault of a "gene", and NOT the individual...

Did the human being somehow just genetically mutate in the past 30-40 years(versus the past 10,000,000 years)...why did our parents drive small cars...didn't have diabetes...didn't need LIPO...or plastic surgery...or American Idol for a value system(or gross-consumerism as a way of life).

Maybe our parents were not as stupid as we think...maybe were just swallowing a new pack of lies and distortions to "validate" our incredibly poor choices we have made.

I don't think lack of self-control is a disease...it's a sell-out.

Everybody who has a dog calls him "Rover" or "Boy". I call my dog
"Sex".
Now, Sex has been very embarrassing to me. When I went to get his
license, I told the clerk I would like to have a license for Sex. He
said, "I'd like to have one too." Then I said, "But this is a dog." He
said I didn't care what she looked like. Then I said, "You don't
understand, I've had Sex since I was 9 year old." He said I must have
been quite a kid.
When I got married and went on my honeymoon, I took the dog with me. I
told the hotel clerk that I wanted a room for my wife and me and a
special room for Sex. He said that every room in the place was for
sex. I said, "You don't understand, Sex keeps me awake at night." The
Clerk said "Me too."
One day I entered Sex in a contest but before the competition began,
the dog ran away. Another contestant asked me why I was just standing
there looking around. I told him I had planned to have Sex entered in
the contest. He told me that I should have sold tickets. "But you
don't understand", I said, "I had hoped to have Sex on television." He
called me a show-off.
When my wife and I separated, we went to court to file for custody of
the dog. I said, "Your Honor, I had Sex before I got married." The
judge said "Me too." Then I told him that after I was married, Sex had
left me. He said, "Me too."
Last night Sex ran off again. I spent hours looking around town for
him. A cop came over to me and asked "What are you doing in this alley
at 4 in the morning?" I said, "I'm looking for Sex..."
My case comes up on Friday...

I have seen many Asian students are attend big universities such as Hardvard, Yale, UPenn, Princeton, Standford, American, Georgetown, GWU etc. On the other hand, I have hardly seen many Asians in professional workplaces.

Where do Asian professionals work?

Thank you :)

"The high hall rang, its roof boards swayed,
and the danes shook with terror. Down
the aisles the battle swept, angry
and wild. Herot trembled, wonderfully
build to withstand the blows, the struggling
great bodies beating at it beautiful wall;
shaped and fastened with iron, inside
and out, artfully worked, the building
stood firm. its benches rattled, fell
to the floor, gold covered boards grating
As Grendel and Beowulf battled across them."

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
thanks.

What movie makes you cry, but is not the stereotypical "tearjerker" like "Love Story" or "Steel Magnolias"?
And, I do not mean a movie that makes you cry from happiness.
For example, the movie "A.I." made me cry so badly at the movies, I could not watch it again when it was released on DVD etc.

i asked a similiar question once but didnt really get any answers on how much is insulting. I picked that amount because we can easily afford that but 215,000 is pretty much the most we can safely afford. i know 2 things ..the owners are anxious AND they were so anxious they almost just wanted to rent it out so they could move already, the other thing is it does have MINOR work to be done. I know im lacking info but basically i just need to know if im going to waste my time even offering that low?

I knew a man who had a beautiful wife (she was pretty, had a nice shape and very smart & classy); yet, he used to cheat on her all the time. I asked him once why he cheated, and he said, "You can have STEAK (the best) at home, and still WANT CHICKEN!!"
Basically, I guess he was saying that he liked "variety". Of course, we all know he shouldn't have been married in the first place; yet, he was married for many years.
I ask you one question, "WHY do you do it?"

p.s. this question does not go out to the faithful ones!:)
