2a (a - 5 ) - 2a (3a - 5) + a ² + 3a
Distribute, getting:
2a^2-10a -6a^2 +10a +a^2 +3a
Collect like terms, getting
-3a^2 +3a
Factor, getting:
3a(1-a)

Multiply through the ( )'s first:

2a*(a - 5) = 2a^2 - 10a

and

-2a*(3a-5) = -6a^2+10a

Now, rewrite:

2a^2-10a-6a^2+10a+a^2+3a

Now combine like terms:

-3a^2+3a

Now factor:

-3a(a - 1)

expand
2a (a - 5 ) - 2a (3a - 5) + a ² + 3a = 2a*a - 2a*5 -2a*3a + 2a*5 = 2a² -10a -6a² +10a = -4a²
