I blame myself and society for this, and here are the stats: 28 years old, mediocre law school GPA, no internship/clerkship offers, licensed to practice law in an area with too many lawyers (I suppose this is true everywhere). I have been working for a legal temporary agency for the last two years and nobody seems to want to hire me. I find it hard to market to potential employers. People have advised me to get out of there, which is what I have been trying to do!

I would really like to work in public service, such as county attorney, but all the offices keep saying no. I am starting to believe that I am not worthy of anything except carrying mail-my previous career before law school. I was very good at it but was underpaid and underappreciated. Still, it seems like staying there would have been the wiser choice than spending time and money in school for a profession that probably won't ever receive me beyond the bar passage.

When my partner and I decided we would be tying the knot, his parents rang me and told me they would be giving us AU$5,000. Since then his father has changed jobs and they were trying to sort everything out. They had their tax done and his mum recieved AU$1,200 which she gave to me and they keep saying they will be adding to it. His dad recieved AU$2,500, which they said they needed to pay off some debts, which is fine, thats all good, until last week when they went out and brought a spa worth over AU$1,000. I feel a little ripped off, would you if you were me?
The thing that really gets me is that they told me 5,000 because thats what they paid for his sisters wedding, quite frankly I couldn't give a dam how much they actually give us, I feel its the principal, I believe you should stick with it. They refinanced the house for his sisters wedding but they wont do it for there son.
I didn't even ask for the money, but I think you can't give one child something and not the other.

Why can't we just drink liquids and be happy with that. What makes us crave actual food that requires chewing?

I am grossed out by the idea of carrying around 15 pounds of feces in my body. I would like to survive on juice alone so I would have nasty sludge being stored in my body. I feel the sludge comes out in our pores and this is what causes body odor. I think someone drinking just juices would not have body odor.

ok my soon to be ex-wife is keeping my kids from seeing me. 2 wks ago she called the cops 2 days before i was getting my kids for the weekend and told them i violated the order of pro she had put on me when we first split and ive followed it to the tea but every since then she wont let me see the kids and its agravating. ive hired an att to do my divorce and my visits with my kids . but her mom is in the middle of all of this **** . i just want an answer on this

I hit my girlfriend. Frankly, most of the time I am sick of her... nagging, bitching, whatever. A lot of the time, I want to break up; but I feel sorry for her, and she won't break up. I even hit her, that is how sick I am of this relationship -- BUT SHE WON'T END THE RELATIONSHIP. I can't leave, I can't get out, and she won't leave, and she won't get out -- so what do I do? This is why guys hit girls, because they are trapped... it sucks. I don't want to go to jail for domestic abuse, but I also don't want to live with someone who isn't nice to me. Go to hell with your comments about how guys don't hit girls -- you haven't met the kinds of girls that I have.

He works where I work. He has no idea that I love him. He appears to be 10-15 years older than I but that doesn't matter. He is young for his age and certainly would be interested in an old fashioned gal such as myself.

But many think that he is a gay because he has not had a woman in his bed and he is his age. Others think that he is a loner with no future. Yet there are those that feel as if he may be a predator, creeping towards young women. None of that rubbish could hold a tank of water. I love that poor fool, fool in love.

I love him and that's all that should matter. He'd never harm the one that loves him. Sometimes he feels persecuted but that doesn't make him a paranoid schizophrenic. I love that poor fool, fool in love.

How do you tell the one you love that you don't mind that he appears to act like a predator?

I come for a strongly patriotic family and I want to enlist in the military. I have decided to go into either the Airforce or the Navy. I have family in all branches of the Military. They have informed me not to believe any thing my recruiter says. So how do I make sure I get a god job? Also how do you go about trying to get one of those bonus I keep hearing about?

I'm about to move to my new apartment and was trying to get broadband hooked up at the new place. The new number is working, and i get a ringtone when I dial the number.

Unfortunately my Internet Service Provider tells me I need to get Telstra to add my number onto their database before I can get Broadband

So I call Telstra up and they tell me that they need to get a technician over before they can fix the problem, which will cost me $200. And when i tell them that the line is connected as there is a ringtone. They tell me it's impossible and that a technician has to physically be there to reconnect it!

I can't help but feel scammed and hopeless. What can I do about this situation?

I was just added as a co-manager to a Fantasy Football team so I logged on to checkout how we are doing this week and it won't show me the actual scores, only the projected. I have the ability to accept or reject trades and do other things, but I can't see the scores. Why? Is there something I need to do to fix it? Or maybe the League Commissioner?
