Chef J, I take that bet, and I bet the next guy a £5.00 note (bet your PC can't do that Ashley!!!) that her farts smell better than us solid food eaters too.
BTW Ashley, why do you keep 'thinking' why don't you drink nothing but juice for the next year, and then come back and report to us how healthy you are, how much BO you have, and how much your not having 15 pounds of feces in your body has helped you out.

Body odor, while affected by diet in some cases, is caused by bacteria. You could drink juice until you peed every five minutes but if you didn't cleanse properly you would still smell.
Feces does not come through our pores. Fecal matter is a natural part of digestion. Everyone poops. If you are carrying around 15 pounds of feces, you have a serious digestion disorder.
Besides, you would be hard to pressed to get all the nutrients you need from just juice. It can be done, but you'd better invest in a high quality juicer.

First of all, a liquids-only diet does not prevent you from creating feces; it only ensures that that feces will emerge in the form of DIARRHEA. Feces is simply the body eliminating the parts of our nutrition that it doesn't need. If you don't like your digestive tract doing its job, you can always get it removed--but you would die, since the greater part of our immune system can be found there.
Also, body odor is caused by bacteria. Yes, a portion of what you eat can be eliminated through your pores or sweat--think of the person who eats a lot of garlic and never gets a mosquito bite as a result. However, that is not feces being eliminated but certain chemical compounds contained within the food that are WATER-SOLUBLE. The only way to prevent body odor is with proper hygiene. Even then, your own unique smell simply can't be done away with.

You actually have no idea as to how your digestive system works, have you.
If you ignore the part of transit through your stomach, all of the digested nutrients are absorbed through the intestinal walls.
The waste products of this process include undigested parts of the food, known as fiber, and older cells that have been shed from the mucosa.
These materials are propelled into the colon, where they remain, usually for a day or two, until the feces are expelled by a bowel movement.
Digested molecules of food, as well as water and minerals from the diet, are absorbed from the cavity of the upper small intestine.
Most absorbed materials cross the mucosa into the blood and are carried off in the bloodstream to other parts of the body for storage or further chemical change.
Excess fluid within the bloodstream is evacuated via the kidneys as urine, but all of the waste products that cannot be absorbed, juiced or not, will still be moved into the Colon.
Net result - you are still full of sh1t.

Our digestive system needs roughage and fibre to keep the tracts open - and to help eliminate poisons and other nasty stuffs that food manufacturers insist on adding to food.
If you were to live on just juices, your intestines would still clog up with stuff, but may also start to atrophy, which would not be a good thing. Most fruit juices are quite acidic, which would need plenty of alkaline stuff from elsewhere in your diet.
The easiest way to stay clean is to eat only un-processed organically produced vegetables, nets, seeds, pulses and fruit. Eat as much food raw as you can (sprouted beans & pulses are excellent for this). Get a good juicer and you could have much of this in drinkable format.
Drink plenty of water and avoid like the PLAGUE 'diet' colas & sodas of any description, meat & dairy produce. Cut down on wheat.... unless it is wheat-grass that you have freshly juiced, I guess...
If you have a decent quality juicer (i.e: one that 'masticates' rather than one of those that spins a little grater at high speed) then there is almost nothing you can't make into juice so that a lot of your diet could be liquid, but you would need to add some fibre to it too.
A friend of mine had cancer of the mouth and throat (smoking, eh! Isn't it just soooo cool!). Anyway, this meant him having to have a big chunk of his jaw and teeth removed - and his tongue was also cut out.
This means that he must now exist on a totally liquid diet - juices and soups that have been thoroughly cooked, liquidised and then pressed through a fine sieve to remove all of the natural fibre wich would clog up his palate or lodge in his (now somewhat atrophied) throat.
So to his soups he has to add some 'liquid fibre powder' in order to keep his digestive system open, and extra nutrients to account for the ones destroyed by the processing of his soups.
And you REALLY don't want to be going to the toilet as he has to - several times a day in often very messy conditions (not enough fibre to keep everything together, if you get my drift!!)
So don't go too far down this road without clear medical advice!
Please!

Hate to break it to you but you will poop regardless...it will just be liquid and very unpleasant. I've read accounts of anorexics that tried to live on liquids (diet ocean spray in one case) and that's what they describe. Your teeth may also begin to break down if you try to live off of juices and your throat will start to close up. You need the fiber in food. Try an organic raw diet if you want to be as toxin-free as possible, but living off of juice won't be good for you and you will also waste quite a bit of the food you buy so it could get quite expensive.

We crave solid foods because that is what evolution, or God, has determined is best for us. Hummingbirds live marvelously on fluids alone, but humans not so much.
Now if you can get all of your essential nutrients through juice and live a healthy and content life, then by all means do it if you want. I suspect that would be an antequated amount of work, and I'd be denying myself the instinct of chewing on my food.

conduct are no longer consumer-friendly to interrupt.many people choose to eat a ordinary formative years nutrients while feeling down. I attended a lecture given by ability of Dr Graham who's a fruitarian and extremely youthful looking, healthful and narrow. He mentioned ingesting 10 bananas for breakfast. yet another author is Gabriel Cousens MD who wrote wakeful living. He is going into large element on transitioning from one section to the subsequent with a uncooked nutrients nutrients plan being perfect. He does recommend ingesting bee pollen which does no longer make his nutrients plan vegan even with the shown fact that.

Body odor is caused by the bacteria that grow in moist places in your body, where sweat collects. It has nothing to do with having feces in your intestines. I thought vegans were supposed to be all about being all natural and crap. Every animal poops, including humans. Why would you want to completely bypass a natural function.

Uhm... well... evolution has given us teeth. To chew with.
I seriously want you to do this... give up solid food, and come back in a few years and let us know how you're doing.
I'm sure it would be hilarious.
$5 says that the next thing she gives up will be breathing.
Ellen: I'll see your 5 and I'll raise you 10 if she actually milks a bull anytime in the near future.
