Knowing with certainty is a state of consciousness which can only exist when one has achieved 'self-knowledge.' Until then one is simply gathering facts that the ego uses for it's own purposes related to its learned fears and attachments.

I think it's something you obtain. To achieve knowledge, would seem like you know all the knowledge there is to know, which is impossible. Good question though.

some knowledge specillay like life's experiences is obtained. any amount of reading wont teach you what you learn practically. But lots of scientific factual knowledge can be achieved by perseverance. Knowledge in terms of spirituality is a combination of perseverance by doing right and obtaining realisation

Good question.

Knowledge is a tricky thing. It's not something physical that you can hold or posses, yet when powerful people hold it hostage, they can reek havoc on the world.

I would have to say that there is no knowledge, there is only the truth and how we perceive it. From birth we have to learn the truth by making mistakes, and by discovering new things through creativity or trial and error. We have to fall and hit our head and burn ourselves on the hot stove before we can really "know" what pain is. We have to give before we can "know" love. We can't know the whole truth about a particular thing until we experience all of it. I think this cycle of learning and growing up is probably mirrored in our purpose as a whole.

I think we were all given the truth, and the means to come to know it. (learning) Each piece of "knowledge" is just an affirmation that we are learning correctly, and we are our way to understanding the truth. The pain that comes with untrue opinions, beliefs, or actions tells us we are off course (whether we cause harm to ourselves or others).

Whether its given the easy way or learned to hard way, we all have access to it.

Book smart or experience smart - which ? Knowledge is information and information not acted upon remains being informed only, and not knowledge. Knowledge is a result of action; whereas, information is "I think I know" because of this being stated from a source. Substantiated information leads to knowledge.

The Apostles weren't sure about Christ until the knowledge was confirmed by the Holy Ghost. By that power, you can know the truth of all things.

Knowledge is something you get with experience.. If you break the word in 2 its Know Ledge and um dont jump off the ledge..Wisdom on the other hand is something God gives liberally to all that ask him as the epistle of James says in the holy Bible "If any of Ye lack Wisdom let him ask of God who giveth to all those that ask.." So all you have to do is ask God in prayer for anything you dont understand if you pray sincerely he will make it known to you
