My office window is facing north. what is better for the eyes: to put the computer with its back facing the window meaning I am facing the window when using it, or with its back facing one of the walls so I am facing the wall when using it(?) I am not sure because of the light: when facing the window the screen gets less light because it is hiding a portion of the window plus the light is coming from behind it. On the other hand when facing the wall, won't there be glare from the screen due to the light? I guess my question is generally what is more recommended - to put with its back side facing a windoew or facing a wall(?) THANKS.

I live in a condo, and I have a sun-room kind of balcony. It's covered entirely in glass panels. The glass is double-layered, so over time it's become foggy between the two panels. The association/neighborhood is forcing me to do something about it, because it looks bad. What are my options? I don't want to replace all of the glass, because that is quite a bit too costly for me. Are there companies that do this sort of thing? Give me some sources.

My son has recieved an " Other than Honorable discharge" he is serving 60 days restriction now, and when that is done he will be sent home. He is guilty of bad decisions that have hurt no one but himself, no criminal activity.

He has been in almost two years. He just turned 20. Where does he go from here, will his life be ruined because of this?, how will he get a job that does a background check?

After he sighned up, about a month or so before he was to leave he said he changed his mind, he did not want to go, but we pushed him hard and he went, it seemed all was well, little did I know how miserable he really was, I feel terrible that I may have caused this for him and now he will pay the price for the rest of his life. How do I help him now?

I know people in this area that find out he didnt make it are gonna ridicule him and it just breaks my heart..

He's a good kid, he just dosent think sometimes.

This is a question an an ACT practice test i'm taking now. My hint is think of the two points as the hypotenuse of a right triangle, but how does that help? I mean if you don't know the value of the "legs" of the triangle its no good....right??? plz help.

Have you made the switch to digital? I have a 4 x 5" field camera, and am finding that getting film is getting tough, and that (unless you have a darkroom) developing film using the Zone System is near impossible. Plus, with the quality of digital cameras and since most EVERYTHING is digital these days, is it time to make a change? Would love feedback.....

i started working for someone recently and about two weeks into the job my little sister got into a bike accident and i had to take her to the hospital. she called me in a panic because no one else was around so i ran to go get her. i called my work to let them know i couldn't go in but they said if i don't come in they will let me go. i explained to them that i had to take care of my sister but they insisted they would have to let me go. i didn't want to lose my job so i tried to see if ANYONE could help me out but i was all alone. i called my work again and they said they would have to let me go, i told them they were being childish and that my family is more important that any job. does anyone have advice for how i should handle this situation?
