Are they any good? There was a new Omaha Steaks store built near us and I was wondering if they are any good--I know they are pretty expensive.

I have bought them and I love them. They are prime quality meat, this is the reason they are expensive. Try them and you will se for yourself.

They're actually not bad. They're normally overpriced unless you can get an offer from them. I paid $50 for 5 cases of steaks, burgers, hot dogs, filets, you name it.
3 of the cases (due to a UPS snafu) arrived thawed, and Omaha Steaks wanted to replace the whole order! I told them no, just the 3 cases. The customer service is very good.

I ordered a bunch of them one time - a pretty good variety - and honestly, I wasn't that impressed. (especially for the money I paid). I have heard people rave about them, also, and I just don't get it. I get much better meat at my local butcher.

They are very good, but pricey. I get them through the mail and they do often have a sale on them.

I dunno, people ooh and aah over them.... But the ones I've had have always tasted like frozen steaks, watery and without flavor...If you have some sort of a local place where they aren't frozen, they might be better.....
