you think the reason mexico has no economy is because once mexico starts getting better someway or another America pulls the reins on the mexican economy and that is why we have alot of illegals here?

I was thinking today about how blessed we are to have R&S. For the first several years, if you were found guilty of being a Christian, you would be thrown out of the synagogues, have all your possessions taken away, you and your entire family would be jailed, and some were even executed. Let’s face it, spreading the gospel has always been dangerous and many have paid the ultimate price for obeying God.
So, when you think of it, is dealing with the people here on R&S who don’t understand God really that bad?

Hi,

I got my entire tuition covered for grad school, and I turned down much more prestigious schools because of this. So since I don't get to put Columbia Journalism School on my resume, I want to indicate that I got a full tuition scholarship to the other school (so the employer can figure out that I was probably accepted other places). But can I put that on there without it looking cheesy or like I'm bragging? If so, how do I word it? For example, should I put "Recipient of the So-and-So Scholarship (full tuition merit grant)"? Do you think it would turn employers off if they read this?

how do you know if you are dead. what happens if what i'am living is not real, i have been put into a false reality for something bad that i have done in my life, what happens if you go into this limbo like state if you drug O.D.
i mean somethings in life thats happened to me in the past just dont add up.its like i have been put into this reality and being pushed to commit suicide to get out of this state and go to heaven as such...i mean this could happen untill you work it out you live in a hell which goes on for ages with little clues here and there until you do kill yourself and see our creator.

What should I do about him? Should I just leave it be and let him live his life the way he wants or should I try to save him? During my recent beach vacation, my camera started to malfunction. Pictures look find in the viewfinder, but the final results are overexposed and contain horizontal lines throughout the image. (I've posted two pictures at cazenoviacreek.blogspot.com)

I did bring the camera down to the beach, and it did get splashed just a bit (lens was retracted) during one unfortunate wave, but it was working for two days after that incident.

I've reset the settings, and have tried many different settings, but to no avail. The video camera function still works perfectly.

Any ideas?

My mother often leaves for days at a time without calling. My brother and sister and I are in high school. We live with my grandma and my mother is hardly employed. She goes off with one of her friends, always, instead of being with her kids. I've tried talking with her, she says it is because we treat her like crap. I have no idea what to do. So me and my girlfriend have been together for about 4 months.. I live about 40 minutes away from her, about to get a job in the same town as her and everything. It's not long distance, easily driveable.. she works nights, I work days. I see her on weekends, and as much as possible.

Well tonight I asked her to dinner.. and she said "I don't know... no more until you are moving down here.." and I go, "what does that mean?" And she says.. "Oh, Nothing." So I press the issue and she goes, "I just want you to move down here faster.. did it work?" The job starts in a month or two.. nothing else I can do really.. and I really like this girl A LOT.. what do I do now??

She said, "I know we can work it out.. I just want you here, now & forever with me.."

I'm not so sure that I've seen US railfans taking down notes this way? Also I really doubt that the female in the film is actually a railfan, she's likely a film student playing the part. What do you think of the part where they ask strangers what a trainspotter is? Would that be true for American railfans?

For those of you who believe in the 'big bang' theory, can you explain what exactly caused the 'big bang'? I'm a christian and believe in creationism. I can't explain where God came from, but I can't accept the wonders of the universe, the human body, nature in general, came about as the result of a massive explosion. :-)))
