I agree with everyone elses' answers. From my personal experience I think that all marriages struggle. With my husband and I, through our struggles we've actually gotten stronger. We got married young and have worked for everything we have. No one helped us and I think that has made us appreciate our relationship that much more. I think it's awesome when people get help from their families but I know alot of couples that depend on their parents and take that type of stuff for granted. We are a Christian couple and I have our faith to thank for our awesome relationship.

I just got married after being with my guy for seven years. We are 28. I think everyone struggles at one time or another. Some couples let it be seen while others are good at keeping their problems a secret. My husband and I have had ups and downs and we know that our marriage will also have ups and downs. We know it will get more complicated as we have children and our parents get older. Anyway back to your question, yes Christians struggle too, we all do. The important part is that you remain faithful and you work together to overcome the struggles.

Yes I do, as a matter of fact....I think some couples have things handed to them which gives them a tremendous advantage starting out in life. Conversely, other couples have to struggle a bit more to get their start in life, but I don't think either couple is more poised to succeed or fail than the other couple.I know all couples struggle in marriage, especially Christians, and in part that is exactly how it should be. Spiritual muscle comes through enduring and overcoming trials and tribulations in much the same way as a body buider gains muscle mass from lifting heavy, burdensome weight. One never knows for sure how much weight this partnership can bear or how this team reacts under pressure until it is "tried" or baptized by fire. Then its faith grows (in each other and in the God that sustains them), largely as a result of things that initially were seen as a tribulation.

I think everyone struggles, but yes there are people that have thing easier than others - although material things do not equate to a perfect relationship b/c we know that perfect does not exsist. On the flip side, money is the subject couples fight about the most.

I think many of the younger people now have a sense of entitlement anyway, and feel they deserve only the very best.
When building their new house, my daughter made the sneering remark, "Oh, I would NEVER build a house as small as the one I grew up in!"
Well, now she has her big house, along with every luxury imaginable, and she is about to lose it all, due to over-spending.
Go figure.................
