Me personally,I'm generally against,though I understand the reasons why people would want to kill themselves or assist in the death of a friend or family member;my belief is that life is always better than death,and perseverance is better than taking a negative easy way out.That weather the person is severely ill or just going through a lot of stuff that appears to be a great mountain that cant be gone over or gone around.
My opinion is theese people need to be helped and encouraged to do the things necessary&the work necessary to improve their situation.

What are your thoughts?

So I know this girl who lives far away from me. She's a nice girl. We get along very well. I enjoy being around her and feel attracted to her. We haven't spent more than about a week together at one time, but we've known each other for several years. I kind of feel like if we ended up having strong feelings for each other, it would be very difficult for us to take the relationship to another level, simply because of distance and cultural differences. We also have somewhat different personalities. I'm the type that is very curious about a lot of things. She's less so. She's the type that just kind of goes through life on auto-pilot.

Do you think I should continue getting to know her and possibly have a relationship with her? Or should I stop now before something bad happens?

I just read that Sen. Edwards made the following remarks in answer to Sen. H. Clinton's assertion that one must work the system in order to bring change and not pretend it doesn't exist.

Sen. Edwards said: "Senator Clinton is right. You can't pretend the system doesn't exist. But you can't also pretend that it works."

What do you think abut this sentiment? Do you think the system that is in place today is a working viable system? Do you think it is being fulfilled in the way it was meant to when the ForeFathers set it up?

My family gets in my head. I want to live my own life my way and raise my kids my own way. My brother belittles me and humilates me in front of family and my own kids. I ask him to stop it somehow is my fault for having issues as he is behaving perfectly normal. My mother is the queen of guilt and manipualtion, trying to control me and how I raise my kids and she cant' see that she does this. She insists that she watns what is best for us and that she loves us even though I will have consequences for my decisions and will regret how I raise my kids. She is a lovely Christian lady and eveyone tells me how lucky I am to have her. She threatens me with 'someday your kids will hurt you like you hurt me' just because I wont' let her alone with my kids (I dont' trust her not to undermine me). I feel caught in confusion. Like a web where I feel abused but everyone insists that I am not. They love me so much. I want to trust my own perspective, but how can I do that when I am clearly wrong???

I am a diabete, and I want 1/3 cup cooked elbow macaroni. I can't figure out how much uncooked elbow macaroni to use. I want to make a salad with fruit, vegetables, low fat mayo and artificial sweetener. The box of uncooked elbow macaroni says that 1/2 cup uncooked is 56 grams. My diet calls for 1/3 cup cooked (one starch) and doesn't give it in grams.

I can't figure out how to calculate this. I've searched for conversion tables, but my search didn't produce anything.

Can someone help me?

Whats the most effective way to build a cardboard kayak? I'm asking this because its a project in my science class and we have to race them across a shallow pond and make it so we don't sink.... anyhow...
