That's not thrush. Thrush would give you pain. You just need to clean your tongue by brushin or scraping.

What are the symptoms?
The most common symptoms of thrush are white patches that stick to the inside of the mouth and tongue. See a picture of thrush .
In babies, it is easy to mistake thrush for milk or formula. It looks like cottage cheese or milk curds. Don't try to wipe away these patches, because you can make them red and sore. Some babies can be cranky and do not want to eat.
How is thrush diagnosed?
In most cases, doctors can diagnose thrush just by looking at the white patches. Your doctor will also ask you questions about your health. If your doctor thinks that a health problem, such as diabetes, may be causing thrush, you may also be tested for that condition.

If your tongue is not sore, and the whiteness goes away when you brush your teeth and after eating, I wouldn't worry about it. Thrush is a very thick coating which doesn't come and go. If you experience discomfort or pain of the tongue, then a visit to you doc could be the answer.

no, i dont think you have thrush, because thrushes occur in little white patches. and you said it wasnt a patch. everyone has that white layer on their tongue when they wake up, i have it too sometimes. you just need to brush your teeth, tongue (its kinda weird but it works) and cheeks (weird)thoroughly. and brush at least twice a day. :)

Thrush feels like you have a layer of paper glued to your tongue...it is painfull and it is not easily removed by brushing or scraping. Thrush is one of those things that you can not really mistake...it is horrible!!!!

thrush turns all the tissues inside your mouth bright red and is quite painful, so no, you don't have thrush. You need to use a toothbrush or tongue blade on your tongue on a daily basis.
