If someone orders a product, such as candy, wrapping paper, etc., from a fundraiser designed to raise funds for a non-profit organization, is the amount spent for those products tax deductible? Or is only money contributed for nothing in return tax deductible?

I'm skinny,have beautiful hair and good personality. There's just one problem: my face is ugly. Makeup doesn't really help, all it does is make me feel more self-conscious. It makes me feel as if I'm just wasting money and time trying to look pretty when in fact I just stay ugly.

I mean, we're American. We make everything durable!! We use Hummers, Crown Victories, M16, M4, .. everything durable. With all of the Weapon companies in the USA, why can't we use an American pistol instead of an Italian pistol.

I am going to be trying out for school mascot, and I'm VERY nervous!!! I know I got it in me, this is what I've wanted to do since like...6th grade(... seriously). Long ago, Ptolemy had a theory of the cosmos with an accurate, yet incorrect, mathematical model for it. His version made assumptions that were inconceivable, because they were impossible. I have been told that quantum theory makes assumptions that seem ridiculous, but they must be true because the mathematical model is so incredibly accurate. What are these assumptions? Also, how do we know that it isn't the case that quantum theory is accurate, yet incorrect as the Ptolemic universe was?

God i dont know what the hell to do, she has serious bi polar and walked out on me saying she would never come back and never wants me again.. and packed up all her **** and left.. but now that she finds out im going to PA to hang out with my friends, she doesnt want me to go shes saying im leaving her all alone and ditching her... and that if i went then she'd definately never come back, i love her but i also want to go, and im also kind of sick of these games shes playing with me.. i dont know what the hell to do please help me.

Hello, I am the proud owner of a senior citizen cat named Dusty. Dusty is 11 years old, strictly indoor, and has had no major health problems in the past. Lately he has become a lot more 'clingy' around me, and has started vocalizing a lot. He used to never 'talk' to me but now he is meowing so much it has become a nusiance. He has also started defecating outside the litter box, which is very unlike him.

Is all of this because of old age? If so, should I take him to the vet? Any info is appreciated!
