if you say life isn't a miracle but just blind chance, then you should study the anthropic principle and reconsider.
if you say that life is a miracle, then why does our society treat pregnancy like an STD?

I had a desktop hooked directly to DSL.... I am moving the Desktop computer to another room that doesnt have a phone jack.

Can I have the DSL hooked to a router in the original room and then have the Desktop computer running wireless DSL in the other room.

In other words, when I hook the DSL into the router, does it have to be hooked into another computer in the same room?

Im 19 and im bi. I work with a 17 year old who makes weird comments too me. ex: I told him that i would kick his *** if he didnt clean, and he replied "what if i like it?" and kinda stands close to me. I dono if i just think he is hot and want to do him!! Or if he is really bi or gay. Also other coworks do think he is infact gay. Im just very confused!! Oh and he has a "soon to be" girlfriend...

So im just wondering how i find out if he is either gay or bi!
Thank you so much!

A quote from a Christian who was talking about the Great Flood peaked my interest...:

"there was a mass genocide of babies, plus many of the babies were brought upon, or born through evil, as they were born from rape or adultry"

So according to THAT above this text...if a woman was raped or commited adultry, it is ok to have an abortion, since God killed the newborns and young ones because of this, no? My point on abortion is if it is in extenuating circumstances (i.e. rape or some sort of medical problem) then a woman if she (and the man she is with, if there is one) so chooses, she can have an abortion) the Christians have a problem with this, no? But what this Christian just said seems that it COULD be ok if the woman was raped...since God still killed the child born from 'evil'...so do I have a point or could you come up with a counterpoint? Non-Christians please answer with our two cents as well.

My 32 year old son lives in Denver. He is profoundly deaf. He works for a printing company. He hired on as a driver. He's a great worker and his boss loves him. He has learned additional duties such as binding, etc.
Here's the thing. He has an AA in computer graphics from Rochester Institute of Technology. He has repeatedly asked his boss if he can do computer graphics. His boss tells him no, because he is deaf and he would need to communicate with the client. He doesn't even let him try.... just says no, because he's deaf.
Is that an ADA case?

How are water molecules able to make up to 4 hydrogen bonds with other molecules? I thought it would be 3 - the oxygen is attracted to another molecule's hydrogen, and each of the 2 hydrogens attracted to the oxygens of 2 other molecules. Can someone explain?
Also, on a website it said "The stronger the bonds, the more ordered and static is the resultant structure. The energetic cost of the disorder is proportional to the temperature, being smaller at lower temperatures." What does it mean by this? especially "energetic cost"
The site is http://www.lsbu.ac.uk/water/hbond-easy.html in case u need to see it in context.
I'd appreciate any help!

Luke 10:25-28
On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?" "What is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do you read it?" He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' "You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live."

Pro-advocates often say that we have no right to tell a woman what to do with their body. Allthough this is true, I consider it a red herring. The question is, "Is it a life?" If it is, it should be protected no matter what the mother says. If not, it has the value of a scab or a removed tumor.
So which is it????
