I have been to the Bahamas and I felt the people were unfriendly (unlike Jamaica) and there were too many dangerous people trying ways to take your money.
I haven't been to Hawaii but the only thing that I've heard bad about it is it's expensive. I've heard it was beautiful though.

The Bahamas is very beautiful...trust me, been there before. you can always do Hawaii.

I've never been to either, but I guess I'd like to go to Hawaii, at least I'll still be in the good old USA where I understand (or THINK I understand) the laws. Wouldn't want to accidentally get in trouble in some foreign place.
