I don't think you'll be able to find anyone willing to take it for a month for free unless it's a friend or relative.

I had the same problem myself, but i managed to find a friend's friend who has a big house and he took my dog for a month. Later I realized that was a bad idea, cause my dog wasn't treated the way she should be treated. It's not that this guy didn't want to take care of her, it's just that he didn't know how. If I could turn the time back, I would pay someone to take proper care of the dog... Try to find another solution, but don't leave your dog just like that.
If the dog was a child, would you do the same?

Your best bet for free boarding is a friend, family or co-worker with a fenced yard for play, allow the dog inside, that likes the dog and you provide the food.
I am going to give the benifit of a doubt that you were not planning to move and felt your home situation was stable. I do find it a bit odd that people assume you made a bad choice in getting the pup (and that is possible) but sometimes things happen out of our control. A week ago everyone was telling a girl to take her pup and move out.... for all they know you could be that person doing EXACTLY what they suggested to protect the pup (and yourself) from further abuse.

Even if friends or family were willing to take in your dog for free, its still very likely they would want you to provide all the food, supplies, etc since its your dog.
I would possibly watch a friend's or family member's dog for free....as long as they gave me enough dog food, all the supplies, and depending how long it would be-the heartworm medicine and flea medicine...and the dog would have to be free of fleas and ticks. And depending on the size and energy level of the dog.

Guess you shouldn't have taken on the responsibility of a pet when you had an unstable living arrangement.
No place is going to take care of your dog for a month for free. Get it a better home with someone that has a stable life.

The only ones that would do this for you for free, are friend and family.. And even then that's iffy.. Who would watch someone else's puppy for a month?
You might contact your breeder and ask if they would board the dog for you.. We often board back dogs we have bred..
And depending on the circumstances and the need.. We have done it for free..

I don't think you will find any place that will offer you free room and board for your dog for one month.
You get what you pay for. Look in your yellow pages under "dog boarding". Call a few places, you may find one facility more reasonable than another.

Part of pet ownership(stewardship) is being able to afford any care your pet may need, this includes unexpected kenneling. If you place you pet with someone who doesn't charge you will not be assured your pet is well cared for. Many a pet has landed in my shelter because the owner was away and left the pet with irresponsible caregivers.

How irresponsible of you to get a dog when you have nowhere to keep him.
There is no place that will board a dog free for any amount of time, that's totally ridiculous.

noone wants to care for your dog for free- stop asking!
Why do you need to wait a month to have it in your apartment?
Why can't a friend or relative take it for that long?
If there's some kind of problem just try to rehome it before then.
Kennels cost at least $70/week so good luck finding someone who do it for free.

Never Never Land.
Nobody is going to board your dog for a month-feed him, walk him, and give him attention, for free. Why do you need to wait a month before you can have him in your apartment?
Check with local boarding facilities for rates, because I guarantee, you won't find anyone who is willing to do it for free.
