In the proogram you have to go through 12 steps ( actually you go through the 12 steps the rest of your non drinking life)... question is if the AA book syas" these steps are MERELY SUGGESTIONS" then WHY does one have to go through the 12 steps...why can't they just quit drinking and go to meetings..period

I got so mad..ABC was slamming Dateline NBC's "To Catch a Predator" they are just jealus because there show is better and they didn't think to do it first..at least NBC is doing a good deed..letting people know what kind of creeps are after our children the public needs to know that..the less prediators there are the better..don't want them around my children..

I had talked to him at 3:30 and had not heard from him since then I was calling all night because I was worried and he has never done this, he gets home at 9:30 tells me his phone is dead and he has a car charger, and we have 3kids all of them were worried , he said he was at the shop at his job but he told me when i had talked to him earlier he was getting ready to leave to check on job about 30 minutes from where we lived and he told our friend he works with he was getting ready to come home help me please! IM drunk and upset tonight!

Ok see i have this friend and he called me last week and told me he was in jail
so u kno he gave me a address and what not so i can write him
well i have a problem.. my mom is sorta actually is a nosey person and would read my mail in a min! once he reply back to me...she is gonna go off and gonna idk what she would do but somethin crazy
now my question is ( i kno its a a stupid question but i dont mail letters im only a teen all i kno is e-mail) So my question is can i write him without a return address? will it still go to him?
Also, if not how could i get away with this without my mom finding out? bc she gets the mail 1st bc we use a p.o box please help ( sorry about the grammar and spellin mistakes i jus don't want yall to think im stupid lol ) so if u have any advice please can u help

I just want to be happy, i am a christian raised in a baptist church and i know all the "answers" but that does not seem to help, i am 22 and i have only had one real girlfriend 2 years ago, i want to date someone i ask but never a date, i am lonley and want to be married, i just want life to begin. i love god but i dont seem to be able to get close to him, i still feel empty and lost. i have a great job and i thank God for it but i also still feel like a looser..... What is wrong with me??? i have always thought about suicide but have never wanted to act on it. but why do i have those thoughts all the time? i can't give the devil the victory!!!! i know i am a child of the king!!!! please help.

I feed my dogs food that I prepare for them or that is people food because I feel it's safer and healthier for them, especially since lately dogfood has had poisons in it that have killed numerous pets.
So how about we all share tips here?
I keep a bowl of dry cherrios ( cereal) down for my two dogs at all times so that they can snack and then for thier dinner they get cooked beef, chicken, vegtables and the like.

I am interested to know, why we have a military, set up to take over countries, when the constituion cleary states, we will only defend not take land? A simple Missile defends system would do the trick to defend our nation. Why do we need to spend 35% of our taxes on the military?

My 5yr old told me today that he doesn't like his heart and that he doesn't feel special. He does have a new baby sister ( 18mths ) and we try to spend as much quality time together as a family, but this nearly killed me to hear this, has anyone else experienced this ? I need help with the type of questions I can ask, to have him explain what's going on in his head ( or heart ). He doesn't like to play much on his own and it's difficult for me to keep him occupied sometimes. Any thoughts?

Ok say you have a cut in your mouth and an HIV+ person picks up a piece of food with his fork and you take it off his fork and put the food piece in your mouth. Basically asking witha open mouth cut can you get HIV from a fork? Can you get HIV that way?? or no chance?

For several years now, I've been living a second life. I go to BDSM events throughout the country and usually say that I am going to an Anime convention or something. I've told some of my trusted friends and of course my slave knows. I've even told my sister in case something happened, and I always have my cell phone.

My question is, my folks are opposed to it (from what I've gathered). I hate lying to them, but I think they would force me to see a shrink if I told them because they think it's wrong. Do they have a right to know what I do with my life? Or does the old addage still apply "what they don't know, won't hurt them"?

If you think I should, does anyone have any advice on how to break it to them?

If you think I shouldn't, does anyone have any advice on what I should tell them when I have bruises or the like?

This is a VERY personal issue for me, please help.
