I had talked to him at 3:30 and had not heard from him since then I was calling all night because I was worried and he has never done this, he gets home at 9:30 tells me his phone is dead and he has a car charger, and we have 3kids all of them were worried , he said he was at the shop at his job but he told me when i had talked to him earlier he was getting ready to leave to check on job about 30 minutes from where we lived and he told our friend he works with he was getting ready to come home help me please! IM drunk and upset tonight!

2. Talk to him about it calmly and not like some banshee who wants to yell.
3. If this is the first time he's done it, why are you so upset? Don't you trust the man you chose to spend your life with?

The answer to your question is yes. However you sound as if you are asking for more so here it is. He sounds as if he is giving you a little double talk you one answer your friend another that usually can't be good. Second stop drinking that is not good for you the relationship or definitely the kids. You need to have a level head to sort this out. Third, if you feel he is cheating well girl time to stop standing by and start taking action. I have three kids you tell me. Well hire a babysitter. When you think he is up to something you have your plan of action find a way to follow him even if you have to hire someone that way you will get the proof you need. Stick a tape recorder under the seat of his car double sided tape ya know. There are all kinds of ways to put your mind at peace and move on if thats what you want to do. If this is the first time and you think he really was working then work on your marriage and stop drinking and talking on the internet and spend some quality time w your man. A marriage takes work you know that and communication. Whatever you decide the best of luck to both of you.

There is NO excuse for him not to call you sweetie, not even a dead cell phone because guess what there are pay phones still around and also there are many people who wouldn't mind letting someone use their phone for an emergency! He wasn't being very considerate of your feelings when he didn't find someway to call you...
Take care of yourself and don't get too drunk ok but DO tell him off and explain to him how worried you and your kids were..

I heard a very similar story not too long ago. It ended a few days later with the wife hitting redial on the home phone and finally meeting the girlfriend.

That is really weird behavior. Maybe you should just be upfront and ask if he is having an affair. It is very unthoughtful of him to put you and your children through this.
