If I'm out in the wild? Do I have a freezer out there with me? I mean, no microwave and no oven . . .
I suppose I would empty the food into a foil packet and put on the ol' campfire, you know, like the pioneers did with their frozen entrees.

Most will say on the box that you can or cannot heat in the oven.
There is another type that can be dropped down into a pan of boiling water. BE SURE to read the container before doing any of this.
You could take the dinner out of the dish container, place in an oven pan and heat it that way. Keep checking it, you don't want to over cook it or it will be hard.

Hello:
You can always heat it up in your oven and even though it may take a while longer than the microwave does,it will still taste really good! Sometimes, certain things like tv dinners or pot pies just taste better when they are baked in the oven, yummy! ;-)

a toaster oven, a regular oven, ontop of the stove, by holding it on a regular plate that could be microwaved and not catch on fire althought this method would take a long time, or the caveman type of way by rapping it in alot of foil and putting it on the hot coals part of a fire

You can heat it up in the oven, theres usually instructions on the packaging but i'd guess at 350 for 10 minutes than keep checking on it if there weren't any instructions.
