Yep, think I still could.
Use both hands on the nearest pair of teats.
Squeeze and pull left, squeeze and pull right. Repeat until no more milk comes.
Move to the farther pair of teats & repeat.
Years ago, Dad & I used to milk 13 cows by hand, morning & night. Really develops a strong grip, which I still have.
Can YOU milk a cow? Or just goats?

A friend of mine who worked on a dairy farm was sick so his wife and I helped do his job in the milking parlor. She was sanitizing the udders before the milking. This is done by physically grabing the udders and cleaning them by hand with vigorous rubbing then sanitizing.

One of the other hands thought it would be funny to send in a bull. We laughed our as s off when she turned around and reached over before noticing.

I have miked a few,you just get behind them, reach around with both hands and start at the top and gently squeeze from the top down,(be sure to have a pail up under them, you don't want to waste it),you will know when you have got it right, they will start bucking a bit, thats when you put your hips in it a little harder and start again...Let the milk cool some, pour in glass, kick your feet on the table and enjoy.....

Yes. We used machines, but to do it by hand you just go high on the teat and squeeze. Alternate teats. It is actually kinda fun. I haven't lived on a farm in years. So I haven't done this lately.
