Does anyone out there ever feel like they are being left behind when it comes to their mate?

I'm a stay at home mom with 4 kids. I take care of the house, the bills, the yard and the cars. I volunteer at school, carpool and do all the shopping. My husband works full time, and he does work hard. Yet he gets to go the movies during the day, he goes golfing, fancy lunches every day, and travels to the best places on retreats and get to see and do amazing things.

I use to work, so I've seen both sides. But after 8 years of staying home taking care of the kids - I (sometimes) feel like the world is moving on without me. Hell, I didn't even know what YouTube was until about a month ago. I have a cell phone they used in the dinosuar age, while my husband knows about all the latest things, and has the newest and coolest of gadgets.

Ahh, I do love my life but sometimes I feel like I'm being left behind. Does anyone else ever feel the same way?

Lately,every time I lay down to go to sleep,songs keep popping into my head and keep playing over and over!When this happens(which is practically every night),Im not wide-awake.Im usually quite exhausted.Its as if I’m trying to sleep but a stereo is blasting in my mind!I go to bed at 10:00 p.m. sometimes, hoping it will fade at some point, only to discover its 1:30 in the a.m. and I still can’t sleep!Also, if I wake up too early (like at 4:00 or 5:00 a.m.) from a loud noise or something,it happens again and even though I am tired,I can’t fall back asleep.I’ve tried listening to music before bed to stop this nuisance but that doesn’t work either(it usually makes it worse because then those are the songs stuck in my head).I don’t want to take sleeping pills but I really need to know how to get this ridiculousness to stop.Or Id at least like to know why this keeps happening.Anyone have any suggestions?Let me know ASAP because I’d like to get a good night’s rest before the next millennium!

I am a mother of 4 children, 13, 6, 3, and 1. He has 2 children, but all grown ofcourse. He's very young looking, and is looking to treat me like a queen. He says he's ready to have little kids around and feels it might be a lot of fun as he misses it. I want to hear those who have a 20 year age gap, and what issues you all have had. I don't want to hear from the people who have never done this.. and just want to tear me to shreds! :) I am not a gold digger, as we have the same amount of assets and liquid funds.
