If you can't get into Casa Bianca in Eagle Rock (often more people are waiting OUTSIDE the restaurant under the PIZZA PIE sign than the number eating inside--haha!!) --- then head another two miles west on Colorado Street and try the pizzas at "Scarantino's Italian Inn" (1524 E. Colorado, between Verdugo Avenue and the south entrance to the 2 Freeway). In fact, anything and everything at Scarantino's is worth the trip. The Veal Scallopini is to die for!

I have to say Casa Bianca in Eagle Rock may taste good, but almost everyone I know has gotten sick there. Myself, probably sick 3 times and haven't been back. Can't recommend it. My whole family jokes as we drive by sometimes, those people are waiting out front to get sick.
Try Big Mama's and Papa's Pizzeria. Their all over LA. More of a chain, but consistently good. Also, Pizza Cucina in La Canada is good, their service isn't great though.

Pizzeria Mozza (641 N. Highland at Melrose) is the best pizza I have ever had. The crust is the greatest with excellent toppings. Nancy Silverton, the founder of La Brea Bakery, was already the best baker before making the best pizza.

I must say I ate at Casa Bianca almost every Friday night for 6 years and NEVER got sick!
If you want an ultra-thin, crunchy crust, it is, hands down, the best pizza in LA.
I don't know if DelCor is still at Venice beach, but their clam and garlic pizza is on a par with Casa Bianca.

Deano's at the Farmer's Market/Grove is good. Also, the NY-style pizza place at Larchmont is good (i think it's just called new york pizza or something to that effect).
