Hi and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
I absolutely love real flowers, but some prefer the silk.

My suggestion would be to go to a florist. That is their business! ALL florists are willing to work with you AND your budget. They have lots of books with examples and also books showing actual weddings that they have done. You can also look through bridal magazines to get ideas. Take pictures and your ideas to the florist and see what they can do for you!

Check with your family, co-workers, friends, etc. to see what florist in the area they recommend. Good luck!

Hi there! also getting married in June. Im going tolook at arts and craft stores (if you're planning to not spend alot) and make them. It's not really hard if you have something in mind to go off of... a picture of a bouquet you like, type of flowers, colors. Then whip out your ribbon and hot glue gun and put some together and see what you come up with.

If you intend to do all the arrangements yourself, you must consider where you are going to store the arrangements before the actual wedding. They need to go into a temperature controlled refrigerator!

Now, with that being said, you can purchase flowers in quantity from a site like this:http://www.growersbox.com/categories.php?cPath=3?source=googleadwordswedding&gclid=CNyjoNaMsI4CFRqWGgod_FmBgQ
or this:

There is also proflowers.com wedding flowers. They come in packages, already made it bridal bouquets, boutiniers, etc, and you can pick the flowers you want and how many of each thing you want.

Do your research with some florists in your area. Let them know your budget and make their suggestions for what you want to do within your budgetary constraints. Look at their books of arrangements for other weddings. They always have them. If you like what you see not only in the books but the arrangements around the store, then they are the florist for you.

I dont know where you live, but here we have gourmet grocery stores that have big flower departments, like Central Market and Wholefoods. I had a friend who used them, and they supplied the flowers for her for her tables, and she just orderd cala lillies for the bridesmaids. She picked up the flowers herself and did the arranging on the tables. She only had her arrangement made at a florist. If you dont have stores like those, look for wholesale florists.

I used silk flowers. I got them from Jo ann Fabrics and a place called the flower factory but it is one of those places that someone has to belong to. I actually bought centerpieces for my bridal shower and cut the flowers out of that and made my bridesmaid bouquets and part of the boutonnieres. Reusing is a great idea, no one knew but me, no one knew they were silk and then your bridesmaid can take them home and use it somewhere, instead of throwing them away.

It's always best to go with a reputable local florist.

Trader Joe's. They have the best selection and they're cheap.
