If you already used it then consult with your doctor to make sure that everything is okay. As far as I know you should be fine. I have the link to the monistat FAQs page which has some information. Also it has a link to mothersrisk.org which has a ton of information on what drugs and chemicals that aren't safe during pregnancy.

monistat is ok as long as its the 7 day cream and not the 3 day cream

*Edit* Amanda the 3 day and the 1 day contain more medication and CAN be harmful to your baby that is why if you ask most pharmacists or doctors they say to use the 7 day cream.

20 years ago, when I was pregnant, the dr. prescribed monistat for a yeast infection. So, unless things have changed (look at the back of the box for warnings) it's still ok.

I was told by my doctor to use the quick monistat packs, like the 3 day or 1 day treatment, the 7 day day treatment has too much stuff that could harm the baby.

The cream is okay, but the actual insert thing ma gig should only be used on the advice of a doctor.

I had a yeast infection about 2 weeks ago and I used it. Though what I would do is check with your doctor. He might think you need to use prescription medication to treat your infection. Something else my doctor told me that activia was good to have two to three times a weeks because it helps with infections and keeping them at bay!
