I just recently graduated from college and I have a strong family history of family members going to the military. I am alone in this journey into the real world. I was told to go in as an officer and they are picky about gpa being 3.0 but I had a 2.7.gpa. I just wanted my degree. I was like whats so wrong going in as enlisted. I do want to travel and learn lot of things. I was an athelete all my life but now i am broke and nothing seems to be going right with this job search. I need advice, should I or should I not go into the airforce as enlisted. They say I could become an officer later because they usually hire people from within. Help me out, I dont know what I want to do with my life, but i know I want to travel all over the world, and military style helps with that and build character as well. Although I am professional but i do feel alone in this :(. Someone help me!!

Violent books/movies/games that depict realistic violence/war
Books/movies/games that depict sexual material of a non-pornographic nature (I think we'd all agree porn is damaging to everyone, especially children).
Books/movies/etc... with bad language up to and including the foulest of all, the Lord's Name in vain.
This question is posed because I know several people who freak out if their kid play Final Fantasy or see a little T&A but let their kids play violent games or watch violent movies. Or those parents who drop the JC's and GD's but reprimend their kids if they say "fart."

o.k i have a total debt of $5500 in all my credit cards! o.k, but sometimes i cannot keep up with all the payments beacuse it's difficult since all the due dates are in different dates! and it would be easier to make just 1 easy payment, if I get a loan of $5500, and pay all my cards! + cancel the accounts
is it a good idea?
and i would like to know if those tyoe of loans lower your credit score?

I got a speeding ticket in Virginia. There is a long form the officer has to fill out. There are 2 areas which say "time".
He wrote two different times (1 was correct).
Does this invalidate the ticket?

Okay so some of you will probably think this stuff is easy but i just don't get it. If someone could please give me step-by-step instructions on how to figure out one/both of the following questions:
1. If john invests $2300 in a savings account with a 6% interest rate compounded annually, how long will it take until his the account has a ablance of $4150?
2. Determine how much time is required for an investment to double in value if interest is earned at the rate of 6.25% compounded annually.
And on a side note, I have the equation A=P(1+r/n)^nt - if i fill in the numbers that I know, how do I solve it if the variable is in the exponent?
