My husband is in the National Guard and works full time for them. He was deployed to Iraq for a 22 month deployment. We had a car loan with a high percentage rate before the deployment. The creditor it refusing to reduce the rate to 6 % say that because he works full time for the National Guard he was already on active duty so he doesn't apply. We did make a little less money while he was deployed due to me staying home more after having our second child alone. Are they correct in saying that soldiers in the National Guard who are deployed are not included in the SSRA benefits?

My computer is fairly new and has always acted fine. There isn't much space on it taken up. But its been acting weird. Two weeks ago it froze and i couldn't turn it off the proper way. So I had to push the button on the PC to turn it off. Then id leave it off for a few minutes and go to turn it back on and it wouldn't turn on. So i would have to wait a few more minutes to finally get it to turn on. Then a few days ago i woke up and my computer was frozen. The time on it stopped. So i turned it off and turned it on and it was fine again. Then this morning i woke up and the same thing happened only it seemed like when i pressed "start" to turn it off some of the programs were dissapearing. But i turned it off and turned it on and now its running fine. Is this a virus? Is there anything i can do to fix this or...it seems like when i restart it, it acts fine but its becoming a daily thing to restart it.

Its Windows XP 2003 home edition by the way

ok i like this girl but for some reason i cant talk to her. I talked to her once in february and that was it. Now i think she thinks im stalking her b/c people keep telling her i like her and i cant talk to her. i freeze up all of the time. she knows i like her and over the summer i wrote her a note that her neighbor gave to her b/c i work with her neighbor. now school started again and i saw her but once again i froze and couldnt talk. I'm always saying that i'm going to talk and i always feel like i can do it i just freeze as soon as i see her. im worried that shes going to think that i dont like her b/c i never talk to her or that shes going to hate me because of not talking and the fact that most of my friends have talked to her for me. what can i do so that i can finally talk to her?

I keep hearing (mostly from conservatives attacking liberals/democrats) that people like Obama, Clinton, and Edwards want socialized medicine in the US.

I've checked, and I don't see them saying they want socialized medicine. So where did this come from?

Is this just propaganda? Genuine ignorance? or something else?

So I've been engaged to my amazing fiancee for several months, and we were planning on getting married next June. However, I just found out a few weeks ago that I'm pregnant. We're both really excited about it, but the doc said my tentative due date is mid April. The more I think about it, the more I'd love to set our wedding back a year, and wait until our daughter/son could be a part of it (ring bearer or flower girl), but we're getting some crap from both of our families about it, saying we're just making excuses and not wanting to make serious commitments. I think starting a family in itself is a huge commitment, maybe even bigger than getting married, what do you think about it?

Just a general questions. What do YOU do when you feel like you just want to scream.
Sometimes I just feel like I want to quit my job, give a children to there dad ( not really), and move away where no body knows me.
I know that this is a tempory feeling.....But damn, I just want to throw my hands up and say.." I can't do this anymore, I give up".

I'm flying from London to Sydney before Christmas. I have a choice of flights, some arrive Sydney first thing in the morning around 6am, some arrive Sydney in the evening around 8pm. Flights leave London between 12noon and 10pm. According to the airline chosen and the time waiting for a connecting flight, overall travel time varies between 23 and 32 hours. All flights I'm considering only have one stop. So my question is, what are the best flight timings (departure and arrival) to minimise jetlag? Thanks

Car has been in the shop since last week. They've ordered the bearing according to catalog, and its wrong - so they say the spindle has been changed apparently..however my brother in law says the bearings come with numbers imprinted on them which should make it easy to replace. The garage lady says Hyundai bearings don't come with numbers...anyway, they are down to the last bearing Hyundai makes and we are waiting for that part to come and hoping it is correct....I am wondering if this is just totally nuts or does this sound correct? Shouldn't they have just taken the bearing itself to an auto parts place and matched it up? Why is this so hard? Car was originally put in the shop for a new alternator, by the way.

I know this may sound strange, but should I sit Bush in favor of playing Tatum Bell (Lions)? Bell is starting, with Kevin Jones out for 6 weeks, and shouldnt share carries like Bush will. New Orleans plays Indy Defense and Lions are up against crappy Oakland.

Am I stupid to be considering this?

Maybe I should trade Bell. I have Berrian and Foster as backups also, since Bell should have some fantasy value in the first 6 weeks.

I have an HP desktop pc that has the pentium 4 processor 3.0ghz, but he motherboard can support a 3.4ghz pentium 4 processor! being the pentiums 4's sell for dirt cheap on ebay etc. could i buy a 3.4ghz one and replace my 3.0 ghz one? if so, do i just take the old one out and put the new one in and turn the pc on (like installing memory!) or is there more to it than that?
