I don't trust him because he is a snake oil salesman. About 17 years ago he sold a cassette series on how to be successful in business. I am a firm believer in Natural healing. Kevin Trudeau is just looking for get rich quick schemes. So now he is targeting the health field.
Try Dr. Andrew Weil instead he has great insight on natural medicine and he has researched it himself.

I have the book and I've read most of it and skimmed the rest. I think he has very valid points. He's not in it to scam you, he's not curing anything. He's just showing you how to have a better quality of life and ways NOT to be sick!
Do you listen to all those commercials about the drugs you need to take for sleeplessness, anxiety, erectile discfuntion etc. Listen at the end or on the bottom of the screen when it says "this drug may have side effects such as internal bleeding, constipation etc."
Nice.
So now, in addition to curing what I have with the drugs the Dr. is prescribing, now I'll have additional problems later so the Dr. can prescribe even MORE drugs!
Who's winning here???
The Food & Drug Administration because Americans think Drugs are the way to "Cure" everything!
So to those people that say Kevin Trudeau is a racket, what about the FDA?
I, like others on here, do not claim to be in the best of health, and I eat junk food, but I do agree with the things he wrote. Maybe people are mad because he wrote this book and is making money.....but hey! HE wrote the book!
Americans are afraid of new things...change....anything that questions what they've known all these years....

No one can deny that the advent of penicillin and sterlization and a variety of medical advances did improve the quality of life. However, the work survived this long without medications and surgeries and relied upon home remedies and eating well. I do believe alot of what he says, I do think that medicine is an industry now, not a calling like it used to be. If doctors today got paid in apples and pigs, things would be alot different. In addition, society has become so brainwashed that people go to the doctor for a bad hangnail or a cold and get either a prescription or a test that they don't need. No wonder the cost of healthcare has increased from paying with a bunch of apples to 400.00 + per month.

WOW! I'm reading the answers people posted to you and I CAN'T believe how many people would trust narcotic pills prescribed by doctors who are paid by the pharmacuetical industry to prescribe their drugs than to try natural solutions. That is a frightening thing to see that everyone talked down on him.
I do think his book was a quick buck, because he doesn't actually give the cures, and claims he legally can't. BUT, he makes extremely valid points and good information in his book. I strongly encourage everyone to to their research and KNOW what it is they are believing in or NOT beleiving in before they make claims. There is nothing better for your body than things fromt he earth. If people beleive that processed chemicals are the solution, then those people are sadly unecessarily toxifying their bodies. We get enough junk in our systems from the air, factories, etc. Why would we willingly pump in more? I'm not overly a health freak. I eat processed foods and all that crap, but truth be told, when it comes to my health and my kids health, I look for causes of problems. Find the problem and fix it. Don't bandaid it with a drug that will cause another problem that will need another drug to fix which causes another reaction... and on and on. See how vicious the cycle is?

I know 3 woman who cured their cancer using the cleanses he suggests in his book.
I stopped my seasonal allergies using raw local honey, and cured my dry itchy skin by using a shower filter as he suggests, and I don't have to take a little purple pill forever either! (acid reflux)
Why not try it for yourself?
Look up something in his book (at the library if you don't want to buy it) that is bothering you. Take acid reflux in my case. My Dr prescibed 'the little purple pill' I had to take one a day even if I didn't have heartburn that day.
The book said it was too LITTLE acid and if you added acid the burn goes away. Too right! I quit the synthetic drug, and now eat a pickle when I have heartburn. Works every time!

I think they guy is bunk. Look at his court record (he's been fined several times and CONVICTED of larceny), and how the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) has prohibited him from promoting or selling products or services. They can't, however, prevent him from writing books (First Amendment- Freedom of Speech and Press), so he uses those to get around his FTC ban.
To give you a better idea of how big a sham this guy is, he says that his cures work better if the user practices Scientology.

I think you buy the book to find out things that anyone would know and then you have to buy something else to supposedly find out the good stuff to only find out that there is nothing new in that book as well.

I haven't seen it, but I don't automatically trust ANY "cure" that comes under the heading of "alternative medicine". Before you try any of these, ask yourself:
"Has it been tested thoroughly in a double-blind study?"
"Who is telling me that this treatment will cure my illness?"
"What kind of training does this person have?"
