My car has been acting like it wants to die, usually just when I start it or have to accelerate really fast, but the last few days when I start it and back out of my parking spot it sounds almost as if the engine is knocking, but only untill I get going, today, after it did this, it smelled like something was burning but it didn't smell like gas or oil, then about ten miles down the road my check engine light came on, any ideas what it might be?

we have all been in this situation. you are trying to figure out a word or phase, its on the tip of your tongue but you just can't seem to say it. well i'm in this situation. i can not think of this phase, it is to describe the way you measure the benefits of a decision.

normally used in economics. it is describe how much satisfaction you will get immediately.

for instance, say i had to make a decision i could go to college, get qualifications, then go to uni. or get a job straight away, where i'll earn money straight away.

I'll receive something immediately...........? if i chose to get a job first, but i can't figure out what it is called.

This has been bugging me for hours someone please help!
i'll be surprised if you understand what i'm on about and the answer is simple. help!

hey everyone.. i wasnt going to sit here and pour my heart out, but i need to tell someone or speak to some1 because all im doing is building it up.
Its been year and half since i broke up with my boyfriend for my parents, its because he was a different race 2 what i am. as my parents found out about it and said they would never accept it. i made a wrong desicion and broke up with him to make my parents happy. ive tryed to move on, but its not working. a big mistake that i regret but its happened. but not only that he texts me like every 4months down the line, saying the same as me, how he still wants to talk to me etc and still thinks about me. but recently he tells me, he got married but now is trying to get a divorce as its not working out :|,he tells me that he wishes he could turn bk time and do so much different to what happened then. its killing me, im fed up of coming back and 4th with him. and because i care so much i want to be there for him, let alone still be loving him?

My 1 and a half yr old cat has suddenly stopped using his litter box. We are going on day 7 of refusal to use it. Hes going in the sinks and bathtubs. The box is completely clean. I have even given it a scrub down. We havent changed brands of litter and nothing has changed in the household. I dont have the slightest idea why he is doing this or how to stop him. Its a pain in the @ss. if i want to go out for the day and choose to use bus and overground train, i have to charge my Oyster AND buy a travelcard or train ticket.

Isnt this extortion? Why cant Livingstone allow Oysters on trains too, if he GENUINELY wants to improve public transport in London?

Alright,you may or may not know that I am a huge Nick Jonas/Jonas Brothers fan. For Nick's birthday,I was going to make one of those Youtube slideshows to one of the songs with birthday message titles. Well,for some reason,the music won't work on Windows Movie Maker, so I asked my mom to research a solution. I thought about it,and decided I could film myself webcam-style reading a poem or something for him. Mom liked the idea,but now I am having second thoughts. I am very internet safety paranoid. Online chats with camp friends have been very awkward. I'm so reserved.I also want to practice what I preach when I do my Girl Scout project on teaching other kids net safety.Am I over-freaked over a simple video or are there other options to just make a slideshow?Help!

You ever notice they just seem to know the answer to every question? Like, for instance, someone who is allegedly not gay and never had a gay thought in their life suddenly knows without doubt and with no hope of being swayed that "it's a choice". Huh.
