You ever notice they just seem to know the answer to every question? Like, for instance, someone who is allegedly not gay and never had a gay thought in their life suddenly knows without doubt and with no hope of being swayed that "it's a choice". Huh. That's interesting. Anyone else think so? I wonder if that's an "inspired" answer? I think we may be overlooking humanity's greatest minds when we just openly disregard these people. Obviously, they have all the answers, right?

I generalize because people in my situation are looked upon in general terms. Instead of taking a look at individual souls I'm simply damned to hell right out of the gate. THAT's why I generalize.

John, nowhere did I assert the belief that I am an expert or that I know close to everything there is to know. I'm not the one who claims these things, but I'm not afraid to point it out when others act as if they do.

Once again, the word hate has not been mentioned. I don't hate. I only ask that, as you have corrected me with your answers and do not know everything, you stop acting as if you do. It does more harm than good. My family very nearly turned their backs on me over my sexuality because they believed that God hated me. Does that sound Christ-like? You all seem to think I'm a terrible person, but I would wager that the ones who scream the loudest are the ones who are most guilty of exactly what I brought up in the first place- the constant assertion that there is no knowledge that can be had outside of the Bible and that anything which may be gleaned from outside life is either of little importance, or else completely irrelevant.

I'm sorry. You may not all think I'm terrible. That was for impact. :)

Christians should NOT be acting like they have all the answers becuas they dont. NO ONE DOES!!
and i'm a Christian and the whole "expert on being gay" thing pisses me off SOOOOO BAD! youre exactly right, how can ANYONE, christian or not, who has NEVER been gay, possibly know anything about it? i personally dont feel the need to take a stand against homosexuality 1) becuase i truly think it's biological and 2)it's not my business if someone is or isnt and it doesnt change what kind of person they are

We don't have all the answers. I don't think many Christians would claim to be experts. But God is, and we get our information, teachings, and example from Him. Christians can make mistakes when they read or interpret something from the Bible. So if you disagree with something a Christian says, then by all means, you should look it up in the Bible for yourself...go right to the source.

No Christians do not have all the answers here. I would say they are very opinionated than most. The only one who has the answers is God and if you opened your heart up to God He will surely answer all your questions in the best way that seems fit to Him. There are some christians here that answer questions which I believe have no truth in what they say. After all it is only what they believe to be true not any "expertise" in it. I also answer questions with my own beliefs and opinions and if the person likes what I said well then I guess I give good answers.

Perhaps it is easier presently for some in 'counting the cost' to get the cheaper less expensive reduced quality god of man/self than the top quality of the God, or to get the 'higher quality God on the terms of the lower quality god man/self.

Knowing something about science and religion does not make a person seem like an expert to anyone except people who know nothing. In the world of the blind the one eyed man is king.
Your own use of "allegedly" tells people that you don't know, and yet you claim that you do.
You accuse people of being "experts" while you pretend to be an "expert". Isn't there a word for that?
PS: You "hate because you are hated"?, so that means people can hate you because you hate them? That makes sense to you?
Since being hated is a reason to hate the fact that you hate people is reason enough for them to hate you and you to hate them. Yeah, I don't think I will adopt that theology.

yes man, some days ago i asked a question in here and then i realized it belonged more to the Psychology category, so i re asked the question in the psychology category...all the answers i got were more or less the same as the ones i got in here, instead of talking about the mind (in a more or less scientifical way) they were all vomiting their ideas and loves and bible quotes...so no matter what category you ask anything, christians are always there to answer

No different from Christianity's critics and their own motivation to discredit our faith.
By the way, when did I ever say being gay was a choice?

A true Christian does not glory in themselves, but in God. His Word, His Power, His Salvation, His Awesomeness! The Word of God is the only truth.

I freely admit there are a lot of things I don't know.
Why do you generalize??? Do you actually know all Christians so you are qualified to say that???

it's because christians put all there faith in some immaginary being up in the sky and convince themselves that this magical being made everything, and that since they believe in him, they're always right.
...which they're not.
