I am 20, 5'4", and weigh 135. Can someone please tell me why I can't lose weight when I eat very healthy for at least a month or why I don't gain weight when I just eat junk?? I have been around this same weight for 3 years! I eat 600-1000 calories a day. For about 3 weeks now I have been eating salads, low fat dressing, fruit, 3ounces of lean meat, and No sodas or tea. occassionaly juice.

Whoever told Mohammad that Jesus's name was Isa (a.k.a. "Esau") must have gotten their information from a corrupted source.

It appears the source of that corruption comes from a group of Arabic "Christians" called the Nestorians. The "heresies" of the Nestorians conform closely to what would soon become (and is today) Mohammadean ideology.

They added to the story of Jesus's birth and omitted certain parts which they found "illogical". For example, the Qur'anic story of Jesus, which is curiously named after Jesus's MOTHER, claims that Jesus spoke immediately after birth, claiming to be a prophet of Allah. It changes the words said to be spoken by Gabriel to Mary by omitting a reference to the "Holy Spirit" by Gabriel. This reference directly contradicts the Mohammadean claim that GABRIEL is the Holy Spirit. It also quotes Jesus in a way which makes Jesus appear to ARGUE with previous scripture which had not yet been written.

Are these intentional mistakes, or simple errors?

I'm looking to buy a little TV for my dorm, and I was wondering where the best place is to buy it, and what size I should get (19".. 20".. what does that mean?) The cheaper, the better! My dorm will be small (it IS a dorm) and I'll have a roomie as well (she doesn't have a TV). Also it needs to have the proper accoutrements for cable. Muchas gracias!

I have found in some federal guidelines for religious expression in public schools that "Students may display religious messages on clothing to the same extent they may display other comparable messages"; however, in the handbook for my school it clearly states that clothing or jewelry or other paraphernalia that suggests witchcraft, cults, or satanism are prohibited. Aren't those types of religion?
If so, doesn't that mean that the school is breaking that rule by saying we can't display those certain religions on clothing or anything else we're wearing?
Could anything be done about this?

I have a 10 Month old Aussie Bulldog. I am away from home for 8 hours a day and she is on her own. When I am away she is eating/destroying anything she can find and reach. She also forces her way through a locked cat door into the house and will run amok inside and tear up magazines, pillows etc.
She has more dog toys than any other dog I know. I have tried ignoring her for a while when I get home, saying NO when I catch her but the problem is that she is perfectly behaved when we are at home. she gets plenty of exercise too (thowing balls etc.)
HELP. I am worried she will get stuck in the cat door and be there all day half in, half out!

I know that they dont like some of the doctrine, but the bible came from Catholics.

If you look at history there were never any protestants untill Luther, he himself didnt want to leave the church he just wanted to get rid of corruption (and there was some) but then people fragmented and made up their own ideology based on what they wanted to believe.

For instance, I was rushing to pick up my Aunt for a doctor's appointment, when I saw an old lady waiting to cross the intersection. I knew I should have let her go, but I decided to drive on anyway.

As I did, aloud I said, "Yeah, I should have let the old lady go, but I'm going to be a crappy person today and keep driving".

My Mother in law wants to take my daughter into Canada tomorrow. I have been looking on-line and found that she can get into Canada without a passport (she's under 15) if she has a Birth Certificate, photo I.D., and a signed permission letter from her parents. I can't find anything that says what she will need to get back into America after the trip. They are not flying, they are driving over. So can anyone tell me what she needs to cross back into the U.S. after her visit?
My Mother in law is a Canadian Citizen with resident Alien status in the U.S.
My daughter is a U.S. citizen.
I also asked this in Travel, because I need an answer ASAP since my MIL gave me less than 24 hours notice. Thank you so much if you can help.

Here's the info - My brother seems to be sabotaging his relationship. They were married since they were 16, when they had an unplanned pregnancy. For 10 years, they had a "descent" marriage with ups and downs. In the 11th year, they seperated, each going out with others. In their 12th year, they got back together and are now living together raising their two children (but still not remarried).

My SIL was having a hard time with her 30th birthday coming up a couple days ago... knowing how she has always begged and pleaded him to do something "romantic", even told him - buy me cheap flowers, rent a room, rent a love movie, anything ... and knowing her birthday was approaching, my mom and I called my brother on the sly, "do you have a cake?" (No) "Do you have a card? or note?" (No) "Did you get her a present?" (No)... He finally went to the store and bought a cake, but that was all.

I know he knew better... I knew he knows what to do to "build" his relationship...

I would ask, "why does it seem like almost every modern woman/girl is a slut", but from my 25 years of personal experience, there haven't been enough girls who aren't sluts to justify this version.

Girls have been skanks since before grade school, and they only get worse with age. I'm to that point where everywhere I go, every job I work, and every new girl I meet, I can't find a single girl around my age who isn't a used up little tramp. And worst of all, they are proud of it. They call themselves sluts, like it's the greatest title in the world.

I don't understand it. Maybe some modern women can explain it to me. All I abhor slutty girls, and I can't find a girl anywhere who isn't one. It's made me beyond bitter, and it makes me regret not being a pedophile or gay. Honestly, I don't think being a pedophile would solve my problem with as many of the modern girls turning slut before they turn tween as there are. 13 yrs old and pregnant, with parents who accept that, WTF?!
