Since I was academically disqualified from Cal Poly, I have considered changing majors. I just started at a community college that has TAG agreements, and is on the quarter system. I want to transfer out at the end of this year, as it would be my junior year fall 2008.. Would it be easier for me to reapply at Cal Poly, as a biochemistry major, or should I just apply at other schools, possibly a UC?

Also, what would be a good school that has a good biochem program, but is not so hard to get into?

Is there any one on this site who has a TOM-cat as a pet? (one thats got a gray body w/ a white tummy and white paws and white tail-tip and fancy whiskers and yellow eyes) TOM-cat is the type of cat I like that was in the book of cats.How many of you have this same exact type of cat I'm talking about?(I'm just asking this question because I'm bored)If you do have a TOM-cat then what did you name it? The music is all about violence, stealing, hating women, having no hope and "taking what's yours."

Is this really how we want our kids to think? What happened to family and education - which is available to all. Most of the people who adhere to this lifestyle end up in jail or working at McDonald's for the rest of their lives. What a waste!

And please, spare me the "racism" comments. I haven't mentioned race in any way. I'm commenting about the dangerous message that rap music sends.

my brother-in-law involved in a car accident which he hit a utility pole and parked cars at a gas station in Va state. the police gave him a ticket for failure to control a vehicle and he has a court date coming in three weeks. For what I have seen these group of people take the bible out of context to prove their point. I am sure you have seen these people troll on yahoo. They take the bible out of context to sow the Jesus is not God or some thing like that. Seriously these people have no respect for other religions or cultures. What do you guys think ?

Do you think its babyish that I still wear little girls underwear, you know, the bikini kind that comes in 9 packs at walmart from hanes or fruit of the loom? It's comfortable and it still fits even though now i buy the biggest size (14-16) they have so i don't think i can wear it much longer. All my friends buy cutsey underwear in bright colors with hearts or writing or superman signs and lacy bras , but i have nonexistant boobs and I buy girls training bras that are all pretty much white or pink and all my underwear is either white, pink, purple, or with flowers on it, but I figure, no guys really are gonna look at it any time soon, and hell, if i can still fit in it, and it's the cheapest and it's comfortable I should wear whatever the hell I want, right?

My friend owns a Nazi Luger taken from an officer who was killed by a his grandfather, a sniper. It is in very good to excellent condition. I know they are worth quite a bit, but I'm wondering if anyone who is familiar with the value of these guns could give me a better ballpark.

My business just got an investor and I am starting the process of forming it into a LLC. I have heard of websites such as Legalzoom.com, IncorporateFast.com and others offering to do all the paperwork, etc. I think that $600 for doing that work isnt really worth it, but I wanted to know if anyone has experience with filing the paperwork themselves, is it really that hard to write the articles of organization, file for Tax ID Number, and everything else? Should I just go through one of those websites, hire a lawyer to do it, or just do it myself?

Also, those websites offer a "Registered Agent" service. I was wondering do I really need a "registered agent"? And who is considered to be a "registered agent"? Does it cost a lot to have one?

Hi guys,

Can any of u guys please settle an argument?

Copper pipework for new bathroom on ground floor, complete new build from ground up including bedroom on disabled grant.

pipework is bare copper under either concrete or between concrete and screeding, block insulation was put in and plastic membrane sheeting.

Now a guy yesterday told me those pipes should have been wrapped in some form of insulation etc, my bhuilder today told me that the pipes r not covered as the other guy was wrong.

The other guy said that there is something in concrete that can corode the copper in as little as 2 years.

Both the guy and my buider r decent guys, but whos telling the truth?
