i have been an astros fan forever and really want to see them have a world series team. i know this year is very very unlikely but what about next? with biggio retiring and several contracts ending, what do you think the astros will do this winter? now that we got rid of tim purpura (thank god!). i really hope the astros acquire or call up some young energetic players like pence.

Oh, great. Just when I start getting some good answers to my previous post about a nicer dialogue, someone goes and starts a verbal war with Egypt...!!

Now children, let's all play nicely, OK? We have all aired our grievances - let's start edging forward and try and say some positive things about each other. Yes, I know you will all find this terribly hard - but TRY!

Jews/Israelis - say something nice, that you genuinely think is good/attractive about Muslims

I know that meat is a great choice but what kind?? Hamburger, chicken, pork, lunch meat? Also is their anything else that is great for ferret treats. I live in the boon-docks and i dont have a pet store within 60 miles. So I would rather give him treats that are healthy from my local grocery store. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!!!

Okay...we all mess up lyrics at one time or another. Mine was John Denver's Rocky Mountain High. During the chorus, I would sing "Rocky Mountain High....Rocky Mountain motto." When it should be "Rocky Mountain High....in Colorado."

I have to find the GCF of
24, 48, and 60

The answer in the back of my book says 12. I don't understand how they got that answer. In fact, I can't figure out how to do GCFs of anything with three terms for that matter. Could someone explain what I'm supposed to do on this sort of problem?

I agreed to make a list of where I spent money but he is going overboard on it. I have to go down to the penny - including when I buy a bottle of soda when I fill the car up with gas. On the other hand, he takes at least $500 (normally more) from each of his paychecks - paid every two weeks- and I can not ask him where any money goes. He pays none of the bills and does not buy groceries. If I ask him to pick up milk, he wants me to give him the money for it. He got mad when I told him I could not pay all the bills, buy food, get the kids what they need for school, pay taxes & insurance on $500 every two weeks. Now he wants a receipt for everything I get. Plus I have started a temp job and he wants me to pay as much of the bills as I can out of my pay then come to him for every thing else I need. He makes more than double what I make but he thinks I should pay everything and let him have more to save. He even hides thousands by giving it to his mom for safekeeping. Help!

This is a dv5000 series HP laptop and I'm selling it after using for a year and so. I want to DELETE everything for good as I don't want the person I'm selling it will try to recover data. I'm concerned to use the "seagate zero fill" utility as I'm afraid it'll delete something useful for my laptop to be recognized by the restore cd, because I've experienced similar problems in the past. She asked in YA why people are shy to give stars, that she's got 14 best answers but they give her 8 stars. It looks to me like she wants people to be generous with stars. So I told her that I like giving it all when I choose the best answer, I rate the best answer I choose the maximum....at least I can make someone smile.

She picked my answer and gave me 1 star...the lowest. I assumed she wasn't that satisfied but then I checked all the best answers she picked and she gave them all the one or two star rating which is the lowest. I don't get her because she wants people to be generous but then she is not....do you get what's up with her?
