Why is the world so negative? Why can't I be setting myself up for a compliment? Why does it always have to be that we're setting ourselves up for an insult?

I've had a Livejournal account for a while, but for some reason it never occured to me to post something or change the layout until now. Are there any patient people that would walk me through this step-by-step, or else just make one for me? I just have a basic account.

I have taught him to sit on command, but he is so excited at the prospect of getting a treat, he sits and wiggles and scoots his rear end around. I then started attempting to make him lay down with a 1 word "DOWN" and he does go down but the treat is just too much and he is going crazy before he gets down and once he has the treat, its all over and he is full of energy. How long can it take to train this dog, or are some just never trainable? We have been working on this trick for over a month.

For all of the christians who don't believe in instrumental music in worship...do you think it would be any different to go to a benefit for a cemetary and have a few people singing a 'church' song with instruments being played? I grew up in a christian church and had to go to a benefit for a cemetary and I know the church members do not believe in using instruments...but isnt it the same thing if you have alot of people together and the are singing and using instruments? I am not saying that I think it's wrong or right...I dont go to church anymore...just wondering what you think. Thanks in advance!
