That would be messed up! I'm single with no kids right now, but I plan on naming my kid after the singer Aaliyah, & other people named their kids that, too. People tell me if I decide to name my kid that, he'd have the right to cheat on me.

Once my friend decided to become vegan, she gradually became more difficult to stand. Firstly she joined Peta2 which I won't even go into... Then it was just little things like, in ballet she was playing with someone's shoes and said, "Wait, is this leather? Ew...I touched it!" and made a face like she was going to be sick. When we were watching the movie Happy Feet, there was a part when the lost penguin was stuck out in a storm and needed shelter, and he saw a house with a fire inside and started walking towards it. My friend turned to me and said in a very sad and serious tone, "You know, since I'm a vegan, if that penguin came to my door I would give him shelter, but if a normal person answered the door they would think: 'Food!!'". These are just a few examples.

Why must vegans do this? Do they actually think they're converting people to veganism when they act like snobs? All people are thinking when you act so upperclass is, "Wow, if that's how vegans act, I'm glad I'm not one!

Isnt is a little harsh to say that all babies (humans) are born sinful? I mean, the babies didnt do anything wrong, and still havent even start to live their lives and understand them. Also, god doesnt allow other peoples punishments be put on everyone. BTW, im just curious, so please no stupid, or sarcastic answers. Thanks.
BTW, im Muslim, and we have a totally different view of that belief. But I wanna know more about wut Christians believe.

I rent an apartment in an older house and the bathtub is really grungy. I clean it with lysol and regular all-purpose cleaners and they get rid of the dirt, but there are still really tough hard water stains. What are some good products and/or techniques for getting rid of that and making my tub and shower look cleaner?

Seeing as fossils are not actually dated by carbon dating, but by their position in the geological column, and how the geological column is dated by the fossils that are found in it, can we really cliam the earth is millions of years old?

The geological column was invented by hutton and lyle in the 1850's. They asssigned layers and fossils with ages of 70 million years old and more.Such as the happily seen swimming calelocant. Seeing as they did not possess any scientific techniques in the 1850's to date anything even up to 250,000 years, how can we still rely on this geological column when it's a flawed scientific standard of over 150 years.

The fossil record is not concrete proof of anything evolving, it's concrete proof of fossils. They have found fossilised hats and cowboy boots, indicating that fossilisation and petrification is a process that requires certain conditions and not millions of years

You probably don't care, but I was just wondering how long it'll take before I feel better. See, my grandmother died 9 months ago today. I've struggling with a huge decision, and today I was thinking about it, and I wished that I could call her and talk to her about it. The conservative claim that the media is liberally biased comes from the personal political leanings of the people reporting the news, and not from their reports themselves?

I didn't realize until yesterday that people were basing the media's so-called "political bias" on the fact that leading anchorpeople or owners of news outlets donate money to particular political campaigns, and not on what is said while the news is being reported.

That said, does that mean that you guys think that people involved in the media aren't entitled to the same rights as everyone else?

And are you, personally, able to keep your politics out of your workplace?

After all the excellent suggestions to solve my previous problem of the brakelite not working, I took the first simple solution, and that was to replace the bulbs. Come to find out that both elements were burning. That indicated that the running lite and brakelite were both on. Right? So obviously there is a connection of some sort that is stuck. I'm not much of a mechanic, but I want to learn to do simple things on my bike myself if possible. All who helped with my previous question are welcomed to reply if you have a suggestion.

I watched a documentary about the story. It's very interesting and dangerous. Richard Nikson, Henry Kessenger and Donald Rumsfield were some of the few people involved in the hoax. Almost all the crew who contributed and knew about it were killed or died later in different accidents by special team from the CIA. I mean the crew [who contributed on shooting the fake movie]

We are planning on buying a new house. We have enough money to put a 20% down payment. We also have credit card and car payment debt that is a little less than the 20% we could use for the house. The interest rate on the card is 4.99%. The car loan is 6.4%. The home loan will probably be 6+%. Since the interest rate on the credit card is less than the rate of the home loan, would it be better to put the 20% down on the house and then try to pay off the card and car loan in a few years or would it be better to pay off the card and car loan now and and just put 5% down on the house and have to pay PMI? Or maybe something in between like pay off the card but not the car (or vice versa) and put 10% down on the house. Is there a calculator out there somewhere to calculate the cheapest route?
