I'm not a guy, but I do wear socks to bed in cold weather. It's just no fun getting out of a warm bed and shuffling off to the bathroom and stepping on that icy ceramic tile.

In fact, in wintertime, I wear nylons only when we go to the theater. Other than that, I wear socks everywhere.

One of the perks of being an old bat is that since I can't be beautiful, I can be comfortable.

I gave up an electric blanket and sometimes wear warm socks to bed in the winter. I can kick them off when I want.

When it's particularly cold I heat up a warmie bag (like they used to place warmers at the foot of the beds in the old days) and once I warm up and get settled, I kick it out.

Guess my hubby's lucky I don't kick him out huh. :O)))))

Old girl here. I used to hate having my feet hot. If they got too warm during the night I would always stick them out of the covers to cool off.

Then I developed osteoporosis, and brittle bones in my feet. Now if my feet get cold, the muscles start spasming, and the pain on my broken and brittle bones is excruciating. (I have woken up screaming from just this.)

So, yes, I wear socks to bed. I have to keep my feet warm so they don't cramp.

I do in the winter. Where I live gets to be -20 to -30 degrees F at night and those floors are COLD when you make the restroom run.
