Or will every report always have a slant?

I really don't think so.
Imagine for a moment that before the political news was released it had to be reviewed by 12 people - 6 from the left and 6 from the right. Each piece had to be passed for broadcast by a majority of this panel.
I doubt we would ever get any political news at all - but there'd be plenty of gut wrenching chaos behind the scenes.

An excellent question Glen. I think the answer is no. It can't be done. It would be great if the facts were put out as a cause and effect progression of actions. But I've never seen that happen. I agree completely with Daddio.

As long as the government controls every aspect of the media it will always be bias. I've seen the news around all parts of the world and it shows the real story.

Well I guess that depends on who owns the station. The owner hires who he wants. The employee knows who writes the paycheck. It's possible but very unlikely. A bias political reporter is not a bad thing as long as they don't try to pretend that they aren't.

Well everyone has a point of view so technically, no. The problem is Fox News imposes their view and makes it no secret. CNN is probably the closest to getting just straight on news without any left or right wing spin.

No, not possible. That's why it is wise to get your news from a variety of sources and draw you own conclusions as to the "truth".

It's supposed to be unbiased but they all seem to add their slants so much it's obvious.
