Which one would you give up?

I watching a show about black holes the other day, it said that nothing can escape a black hole not even light. Well what is light, how would you describe it.
Also
I would like to know different theories on how the universe formed or whatever you want call this thing we are floating around in.
Anythings possible or does everything happen for a reason?
All answers welcome even if your a little bit crazy :)

The Ministry of Defence has played down criticism of US post-war policy in Iraq by the former head of the British army.
In a Daily Telegraph interview, Gen Sir Mike Jackson, chief of general staff during the 2003 invasion, attacked the policy as "intellectually bankrupt".

Doesn't this tell us how pathetic, wrong and frankly TREASONOUS this administration has been to our troops?

This guy is the equivalent to Colin Powell, and he should know.

Obviously this is for the Christians. Ok, I'm having the hardest time clearing my mind so I can have ALL focus on Christ when I pray. & because the lack of meditation, I find it hard to find a constant daily prayer life. any suggestions???

I had a sciatica injury 3 years ago ( It afficted my left side ) and noticed that my legs and Butt get more pumped on the right side than the left. What type of therapy/Excersise' should I do
to equalize my workouts.

I have a house in houston and now I need to get the hazrd insurance. The insurance agencies tell me to take the expensive insurance which include include replacement cost and 6 month rental, (TD3).

I want to go for the cheaper insurance which just pays for the COST (TD1)

What do you advise?

daglas69 called me stupid for posting that there was a misinterpretation in the bible when Moses led the exodus....it was mistaken as red sea when it should have been reed sea....he called me stupid for posting that.......so I posted some sources to back up what I said and left him a message in one of his other questions so he could come back to see what I'd replied......I had proven him wrong, so he blocked me. That's weak.

Somebody tell him I said hi ok?

Has anybody had this happen to them?

I just got a 2 yr old cat. Ive never had a cat before so this is all new to me. She walks around the house meowing ALL the time. Is something wrong with her or do some cats just do that? I take her to her food and water and show her to the litter box but thats not it. Is this normal?

Hi all! I was hoping someone could help. I was in the pet food store this morning and a very nice man was in with his pup. It was of a breed I've never heard of before. It was a beautiful pup and about the size of a Min Pin right now at 16 weeks old.

He told me it was a Golden Doberman! I asked where he found such a dog and he told me it is a European line very rare.
Does anyone have any info on this breed? Have you seen or heard of this breed before? Is it exclusive to Europe, or is it here in the US too?

No single piece of evidence proves that evolution happened. We know evolution happened because of a convergence of mutually supportive evidence from numerous fields such as geology, paleontology, biogeography, comparative anatomy and physiology, molecular biology, genetics, and many more all of which point to an unmistakable conclusion.

For example, we know from human history that humans bred Wolves to create the dog species yet there is no single fossil proves that dogs came from wolves.

Does this show that wolves didn't come from dogs? Of course not because archaeological, morphological, genetic and behavioral "fossils" converge to reveal the concestor of all dogs to be the East Asian wolf.

A few holes doesn't discount mountains and mountains of mutually supportive evidence.

I just received the oddest phone call. My uncle was clearly irritated at me. I was living nearly rent free at one of his properties about 18 monthes ago. He was angry because he is loosing tenants at one of his apartment buildings. Namely the apartment I was living at. He says that people would move it then forfeit the deposit money and move in about a month to three monthes after moving in. He said he refunded the last couple to move out because they were there for only two weeks. The former tenants all claim there is a problem with the apartment, or "feeling uncomfortable" in the apartment. The last tenants were so "disturbed" they wer actually crying about it and claim it was "haunted", when I was living there I into any cult practices or calling on demons. I got drunk alot and lounged around alot, I didn't do anything out of the ordinary, I never had anything unusual happen to me either.

So, am I being blamed because I am the most convienent person to blame?

Me and my family were watching just for laughs and one of the things was when you at a gas station somebody changes spots with the person that was waiting in the car for the person filling up.
Now I was thinking, they should really do one where some random person goes and sits in the car while the person is filling up, but it would be someone who didnt have any passengers. It would be hillarious to have just this random person sitting in your car. (if they werent killers or crazies)
Does anyone else think so?

She will inevitably try to say it is "racism" just like she did when the people in that French purse store didn't recognize her and did not open back up after closing for the day. There is a segment of blacks that are like that. They blame racism on everything. Yawn. Just like Michael Vick. Blacks that understand what I am talking about know that many blacks fought for civil rights and they would say this is not racism. Equal treatment means that you open yourself up to criticism - it doesn't mean that you will be treated with kid gloves. Face it Oprah - you are a bully and it isn't about race - it is about your arrogance that has been brought on by your extreme wealth.
