My first name is Kirstin. (Pronounced the same way as the actress Kirsten Dunst).

I know that using the Katakana alphabet there is no perfect adaptation of how to spell this. However, the closest ways I've seen so far are:

カーステイン
or
キルステン

Do you know which of these spellings would be considered a closer adaptation of my name or do you think that there might be an even better way to spell it? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!!

It is so 1990s still here in provincial Liverpool. The people can be so out of step with the latest fashions in London, Paris and New York. For instance, it seems every adult male in Liverpool is a carbon copy of the other with this obsession for crew-cuts and shaving their heads bald. They all look like they're still stuck in 1992! I ask my guy friends here, why don't you grow your hair long like most men are doing elsewhere in the civilised world, and they look at me as though I have three heads. There seems to be no respect for individuality; everyone wants to be a conforming clone of the other.

Does anyone have any evidence (demonstrable evidence) of someone whose incomplete limbs were made whole by faith healing? I have heard arguments against God healing amputees because their limbs were taken because of human choices.

But for people who have a genetic (intelligent?) design faults and have been born without fully formed limbs... isn't that valid for healing, just as Jesus healed the blind who were born that way?

Remember, with God, all things are possible. St. Peter walked on water, simply by his faith.

Im making meatballs from scratch, when I make them in the slow cooker, I can't use the sauce because its loaded with all the fat (I use lean meat), should i brown them a little in a pan first , that way i would be able to drain some fat.

I didn't. In the sixties as many of you must know it was a bad girl who had a baby before she was married. Yes I admit it! I was that bad girl. Our son was nearly 4 by the time we decided to tie the knot. So we crept away one day and just got married.Because we wanted to, not because people thought we should.
We had so little money at the time, hubby sold his beloved trumpet to pay for my wedding ring and our marriage licence.
He still hasn't replaced his trumpet and I hope he never feels the need to replace me either cos it's coming up to 35 years now ,since that ring was placed on my finger and I've never taken it off.
So my q is tell me about your wedding?

Now I can go and do my chores while you answer me.
(hopefully) lol x

My husband and i have been married almost 3 yrs this comming month. We met and started dating when i was 19 still in college and he was 22 already graduated from college with plans to go for his masters or start his own business. When we first met he bailed me out of a fake ID situation and then asked for my number so i would feel obligated to give it.Well it turns out we were almost polar opposites personality wise(i'm low key vs.his out going) but had very similar vaules ,goals, and morals.Well now i am 27 yrs married with 2 great kids ages 5.5 and 2 with a loving husband but my best friend does not get why i cant go out with her all the time? Most of our friends are beginning to settle down so you would think she would get it but no?All she can be is angry and vent?

No chit, as I grow older, I look better and better. Females find me irresistable and I often want to go with them.
To make matters worse, my appetite for physical gratification has increased over the years - it's suppose to wane with age; in fact it did for a while but over the past 5 years, it has increased. My partner however is not into the physical side of the relationship as before.
I so yearn to take up the various invitations but dare not as fornication with females unlawful to me is strictly forbidden.
Why is God testing me this way - it's torture?

They believe this because they WANT to believe it. It is a form of positive thinking, and sometimes positive thinking works. But to attribute something to a God just because it went right is irrational, and seems a little crazy to the non-believer. And crazy people can be dangerous. Some Christians kill abortion doctors, commit suicide with their followers, attack those of a different sexual persuasion and go on gun rampages. Now most Christians don't do those things, but when they show irrational conduct, one cannot help but react as you react if you meet someone who is drunk or on drugs. It is the instinct for self-survival. The Christians could avoid this situation by keeping their explanation of their positive thinking to themselves. I suspect many are too stubborn and enjoy disturbing people with their eccentricity, so we are stuck with those who insist on thinking that "God" did it, and want to tell the world. But don't complain if people react and think you are dangerous!

I stay home with my kids because I think a parent should. Not a woman, a parent. I have had three kids, granted one was a set of twins, but still. I do not plan on doing this forever, but my point is my staying at home has nothing to do with being a "help meet" or a woman or even a Christian (since I'm not) Its a choice as a PARENT. Why do people make it about status as a gender?

I guess I'll start from what he said triggered him to do it. I recently moved out of the house that we both share, cause he kept fighting me with everything that I try to suggest to make us get better. He was usually always alone jumping from house to house since he was a kid after his mother died. What made me leave was because he kept trying to be detached, ALSO he hadn't saved any money. Well anyways, I left. He had called after I did & asked me if I left him for good. I told him know I just wanted him to get himself together, I don't want to fight anymore. So last night he borrowed my phone, & then gave me his to put on the car charger, I end up taking it to school with me because I wanted to be able to call for a ride. When I got off I called him, told him I had a ride. Then I got off was about to text him & a call came through under his cousin name, and the phone answered. Not to be rude I said hello and it was a girl.& she told me she was his girlfirend & that he said I was ex.

I have read the following statement : Research cites that a young, growing forest--following harvest operations--is much better for the environment than an old growth stand of trees. Actively growing trees between 20 and 70 years old have the ability to sequester carbon, whereas trees beyond that age are carbon neutral and even begin to release carbon into the atmosphere. (this is an industry report) The question is are these facts true, false, misleading, incomplete. Could you also list sources. Thanks.
