Religion is a strong influencer in politics these days. George W. Bush claims he prays to God to make his decisions (scary if God is behind his actions). In my research, I discovered these passages in the book of Mormon:

"And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity ... wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them. And thus saith the Lord God: I will cause that they shall be loathsome unto thy people". 2 Nephi 5:21-22

"And cursed shall be the seed of him that mixeth with their seed; for they shall be cursed even with the same cursing. And the Lord spake it, and it was done". 2 Nephi 5

Should we feel comfortable having a Mormon who believes in this as our president? Do they do use the same approach Christians use to excuse inhumane, flawed or ignorant references in their bible?

I have been with this guy off and on for three years... we've dated, broke up, dated broke up, etc. mostly because of his mood swings. He was diagnosed with bipolar disorder as a child, and experiences mood swings occasionally. Usually he's happy, cheerful, funny, wierd, and goofy, but he gets in moods where he's depressed and isolates everyone from himself, only to snap out of it later and apologize.
I've tried bringing this to his attention but he barely acknowledges it, mostly out of shame perhaps.
What I ask is this; I love him more than anyone and want to be there for him, but how do I deal with times when he gets so depressed and sad and pushes everyone away?

Yes, I'm a college student and recently moved to a new city/environment - still looking for an apartment. I believe I have overall good credit history. I'm 22 male and want to rent an apartment. But the problem is once I tell them that I'm a student, they tell me I need a co signer!

What can you recommend so that I can rent the apt???

I think I won't be able to use a co signer for that! If I tell them that I work, they told me they would check with my employer!

What are my options? Could you recommend something! Thanks a lot!

In my house I have mostly 2 prong outlets and I would like to replace them with grounded 3 prong outlets. From what I can tell I do not have a ground wire coming into the boxes and the boxes arent connected with EMT, just the wires running from the box downstairs. Its a 100 amp service which is code and I want to avoid running new romex up there to get my ground wire. GFCI breaker?

young sithys are going to stay at MIL saturday night, but not til quite late (we was gonna go out) so I wanted to cook something nice while it just the 2 of us, but dont want to do it while sithy is here so its gonna have to be something easy to prepare and quick to cook.

I have taken my suv to the dealer 9 times, they either say the problem is fixed or they cannot duplicate the problem...not everytime but occasionally when you apply the brakes, they will "pop" and you can feel the whole car jerk??? Any idea whats causing this???Its not the pads, they are new

Have the SUV above that is spitting tranny fluid (pink/foamy) what type of fluid & how many quarts. It has been drained & empty right now. husband thinks maybe it was overfilled. He drained b/c it was in water (like 3ft) last week.

the company will need a website
everyone will require access 2 email at his/her workstations
access 2 d world wide web is required at most workstations
require complete and verifiable security
need at least 10 workstations networked together in a completely secure way
it is important that the network is reliable and money is not a problem
Please cud u tell me how 2 begin on how 2 design d network giving a high level description of d solution & how d solution meets the company's (ABC software) needs,d type of network & wat type of network diagram shud b used. any little info is good
