I have a salon and use it a lot. It allows you to choose your type of face............... then SEE in real time, exactly what particular style suits you. You can also view your chosen style from all angles.
You can also use "Add Ons" - this will jelp you with your fringe. See it in action, with your NEW hairstyle.
Before you embark on this exercise you must ensure your salon has all the right equipment to carry out the process.
This was first launched in New York - but is catching on over here. It is time consuming - but well worth it.

I woud say something long, sholder length or more, dont go for short hair bacause it might not suit you, but its hard to know.

i didnt know you could have pear shaped faces!?
but if you have a slightly fat face - dont go for a bob!

go for a style that you like...if other people don't like it then that is there problem not yours...you make yourself feel good don't just do anything to please others...we are all made the way we are...like i need liposuction on my mid section...but i will not have it done just to please other people...even though i know its there...no matter what you do you will always look your best.....wish you all best.....
