They believe this because they WANT to believe it. It is a form of positive thinking, and sometimes positive thinking works. But to attribute something to a God just because it went right is irrational, and seems a little crazy to the non-believer. And crazy people can be dangerous. Some Christians kill abortion doctors, commit suicide with their followers, attack those of a different sexual persuasion and go on gun rampages. Now most Christians don't do those things, but when they show irrational conduct, one cannot help but react as you react if you meet someone who is drunk or on drugs. It is the instinct for self-survival. The Christians could avoid this situation by keeping their explanation of their positive thinking to themselves. I suspect many are too stubborn and enjoy disturbing people with their eccentricity, so we are stuck with those who insist on thinking that "God" did it, and want to tell the world.But don't complain if people react and think you are dangerous!

It's a sony digital camera and the whole zoom feature is on the button too, so it's all glued down now. Any Suggestions? I was thinking about dabbing acitone on it and see if that will loosen it up but i'm scared that might fry it!

ok so i need this book called fast food nation. so uhm the library doesn't have it... no library has it, i put it on hold... but i need it by this week. like as soon as possible. so i dont wana go out and buy the book. so i was wondering if anybody new where i can read the book online maybe? dont say wikipedia(they arent thorough enough) and i dont know what else...

I give a lot of good medical and personal advice here on YA!, and yet I see that very few people take my advice to heart. I see them continue to post outlandishly horrendous situations over and over. They seem unable or unwilling to listen and free themselves from their self imposed prisons of misery. What else can I do to help?

We've been going out for 5 years and we were supposed to talk about how our relationship needs to be improved and he completely stopped talking to me, this has never happened before. I used to not pick up for him for weeks when I was mad at him, but he's never done this to me. We had plans to talk on Wednesday so it has been a week since we talked. I called him 4 times throughout the week and I left a message asking him to call me back on Sunday. He still hasn't. Do you think he's over me?

The number of poor people continues to rise at about the same rate as growth of our total population.

But that's not because people are moving down - it's because people are moving UP - - but being replaced more than 1 for 1 with NEW poor people from other countries, who have come here either legally or illegally.

This may be an indictment of our immigration policy - or lack thereof - but it is NOT an indictment of our economic policy.

These people didn't start out in the US and BECOME poor here - they were poor somewhere else - typically a country where there is LESS of a free market in place - and CAME here.

And by and large even THEY move up over time.

I live in Michigan, but why do they show Sonic's commericals if there is no Sonic's in Michigan? It sucks because some of there breakfast food looks good! Damn you Sonics :(

Electricity generators often state their capacity in KW or MW. But, is this per hour, per year or per what? Eg- Generator capacity 200MW. Is that 200MW per hour?

why would they need anymore? i mean seriously its only a one hour show. thats what 2 or 3 matches per show at least. IF i wanted to bring a ECW title belt back i sure wouldnt want it to be the ECW Tag Team titles seeing as there is NO tag teams in it in the first place. I'd want to bring back the ECW TV title. But seriously why would you need more titles for ECW. until it actually gets at least 30 minutes to an hour more i really dont think they need another title to be perfectly honest.

what do you think?
