It's a sony digital camera and the whole zoom feature is on the button too, so it's all glued down now. Any Suggestions? I was thinking about dabbing acitone on it and see if that will loosen it up but i'm scared that might fry it!

I've got good news and bad news for you.

The bad news is that you need to take your camera to a repair shop and get it fixed before you make the problem worse. Acetone may disolve the plastic of the camera body. There is some possibility they may refuse to work on the camera for you because they don't want to take responsibility for it.

The good news is that you didn't have appendicitis and perform surgery on yourself.

This is a hard way to learn that camera repair is best left to experts.

If you decide to try the acetone, hold the camera so the button you glued down is pointing down. That will help minimize the chances of it getting into the camera.

Try the acetone (finger nail polish remover works too) and see if you get results. It's hard to say anything without seeing it.

Umm, you should take it to a professional repair place....which is what you should have done in the first place....
