I actually had to buy the stupid book for school. I think it was like 10 bucks. I would just go buy it. There is no way around it. Books-A-Million has it. I hated that book so much! I'm sorry you have to read it!

Have you tried used book stores?

Are you requesting it for a class assignment? If so, you may want to extend your Interlibrary Loan request. Ask the librarian to search OUTSIDE your library's area. By that, I mean, if your library is part of a large system, the book may be checked out by other students or patrons needing the book.

However, there may be libraries outside your area that have the book on their shelves and may be willing to lend it.

College libraries may also own this book and may be willing to lend it.

The book is out now in paperback and is less expensive than hard back.

I am not familiar with books on line. But, is there a fee to read the book on line? (just wondering).

if you have time and can get to a big book store, you can sit there and read it.
