I have have been greatly worried about that since I always wash my hands after I use the toilet. Most of them are electronic now and I have this vision of using my foot to flush and falling on my butt so I generally use my hands because as I said I wash them afterwards. I'm a guy so 90% of the urinals are automatic now and that's what I generally use in a public bathroom. If I use the toilet I make sure that I wipe it off before sitting down.

If I am forced to use a public restroom which is rare as I can hold it a really long time unless I'm drinking beer I use my foot or like 4x4 I just leave it. I also refuse to touch anything in there with my bare hand yikes!!!

Of course I use my foot. Some automatic flush toilets are so violent I've heard of little kids being sucked in and getting caught.

Yes, I have been doing that for many years...even at work where they clean the stalls daily
and I open the bathroom door with a paper towel cuz it's the executives who don't flush or wash, I see 'em every day

haha i thought i was the only one who did that, I will get some toilet paper to open the door back up and when I wash my hands i use a paper towel to open the door. Public restrooms are the worst.

Yes I do... I also cover the toilet seat with a lot of toilet paper and still don't sit on it

ALWAYS. I was in the hospital visiting someone yesterday and had to use the bathroom...went I went to flush the handle was at my eye-level-----I nearly pulled a hamstring trying to get the damm thing flushed!

I have a bad back so I don't strain myself unnessecarily- I don't know about everybody in here but I just wash my hands after I use a public washroom- that's what soap is for.
