im going to be at books a million this weekend... and my biology class did nothing for me because i forgot it all already. i would like to learn more about it.. does anyone know any good books that don't lie and focus more on human metabolism and digestion and that stuff?

I just saw one of my neighbors get arrested and I called the Sheriff's Dept. to see what was going on and she rudely told me that she couldn't tell me what was going on. I asked when it would be released and she didn't give a definite answer. I alway thought that information was public.

I am 38 yrs old going on 39 yrs old and my husband is 37 yrs going on 38 yrs old. We have been married for 10 yrs happily and known each other since high school we met when we were ages 16 and 17 its a complicated story .This is my third hopefully final marriage and i have 7 kids 3 boys/4 girls who all live with me.My husband is the biological father of my 3 boys and my youngest daughter.I dont want to have to worry about pregnancy anymore but when i brought up a vasectomy?he said what if i want another child and looked offended?I dont get it he was fine with the idea of not having anymore kids till i brought up a vasectomy?

I like this girl in my music class. She sits across from me in class. Everyday while are teacher is talking to are class i look down at the tabel and out of the corner of my eye i stare at her ya i know its pretty sad. When bell rings to leave everyone leaves and she is like the last person to get out. I really like her i think she is really attractive dont worry i aint a nerd or geek. I really want to ask her and i like alot deep inside. But the thing is im not sure how to talk to her. I mean i cant just go up to her and say " Hey what sup whats ur name ". Can somebody help me out i really like but im really shy to go up and talk to her. How can i start talking her ? should i try to walk out of the class at same time as her and bump in to her ? Please help me out ppl i really like but im not sure how should i start talking to her. Oh by the way im 17 and she is in 9th grade. But then again im really nice to girls and polite. I know I'm sure I'm worrying about nothing...and my doctor told me theres nothing I should worry about and whats done is done. But im 37 weeks and my due date nears I get more and more worried. I wasnt actively trying to get pregnant, and according to my due date (september 20th), i conceived before new years (though, Im farly certain my LMP was actually on New Years)....regardless, I drank a good amount on new years, probably 8 or 9 strong drinks or so. I feel awful and I of course didnt drink a darn thing after i knew i was pregnant...but Im wondering how soon after a baby is born can you tell if she has FAS. Also, how common is it? I feel terrible...
