First of all growing weed with hydroponics is not everything hydroponics is used for! Have you ever been to Epcot Center in the Land Pavilion at Disney World and seen the hydroponics exhibit there? Besides weed, you can also grow flowers, fruits and vegetables through hydroponics. Ever eaten a cherry tomato from your local grocery store? Most of these are grown with hydroponics. Hydroponics is becoming more popular especially in third world countries where a country's soil has been depleted of all it's nutrients and therefore they cannot use their soil. There is now a cause to help world hunger called Hydro For Hunger. Hydro For Hunger is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing world hunger through the power of hydroponic gardening. So next time you think hydroponics is ONLY used for weed growing purposes think again! This method has been around for centuries and long before any weed was ever grown with it. If you would like to know more of hydroponics advantages and disadvantages I have listed a couple below.
