The photos show that you know how to take a photograph that has good exposure and you know how to operate the camera.

You really need to concentrate on composition. Every image has something centered, usually something important, like the sun, the waterfall, the crab, the horizon, the river, the sun reflection (you see the trend).

You will find your images will be more interesting if you think about the "rule of thirds" for composition (as well as other concepts).

To learn more, look at every picture you see, even the scenes in movies, and notice the composition - where is the main subject, etc.

I would rate these images as very average only.

Your absolutely best shot is the second one called Newport Oregon where the person is walking in the top third of the picture. Just about all the elements of a great photo are in this pic. Your composition on this one is right on. The others are too typical. I am guessing some of the waterfall shots were handheld and at a marginal shutter speed for handheld. A tripod is a must for most tack sharp pictures.

Keep up the good work. You are well on your way. Have fun being creative.

Quality I cant really rate at the resolution Im viewing them at.
Same goes for sharpness.
Technically they appear strong exposure wise, the focus could be a bit more selective in some.

The placement of the horizons is pleasing. Alot of the images still seem to be very "centered". The crabshot as an example would comunicate more to me if it was framed with the crab in the right hand corner of the frame so I could see where its going. Three rocks would "ping" with a polariser.

Technically they are strong, composition could be stronger. Nice use of foreground objects to give the images scale. Pleasing exposures. 1000 thanks for the peak.

EDIT: personally I always compose my corners (in the frame) first, then I look at the image as a whole its easy to see if the center is out of place when the corners all do the right things.

Personally, I never say people have good images on this website. Some pictures are good, but not that well created. However, you have great talent. Everything is wonderfully exposed, with no ghosting or lens flares. What type of camera do you use? If you have an SLR, or DSLR, look into some polarizing filters and ND filters. These will darken up the sky, along with adding some pleasing effects. Otherwise, good job.
