my boyfriend's cousing is getting married on september 8 and i still don't know what to wear.. is a big wedding.. what colors are on fashion right now.. or do you a website where i can ideas.. i really want to look good.. the wedding is in Chicago and i'm traveling from california.. so i also need to find a gift that i can carry with me or put in the suitcase.. help me please!

When I was young I was sexualy abused by my sister, at the time I was younger than ten. I remember several occasions one which included the neighbors daughter. At the time I didn't understand what was going on, but every since I was about 12 and older I have felt demoralized and worthless. I am now going on 24 and I still can not look a woman in the eyes without guild and sorrow. I really don't have any family to consult and I am embarrased to tell any friends I do have because of the shame I feel. I find myself alone and dreaming to have a family someday, but I know in my current state that a healthy family is impossible. I feel I must work through my depression before I can achieve my life goals, but I have no clue where to start.

I saw an answer to a previous question that said that a study was done and the percentage had remained constant, but if people did not 'come out' before how can they assess accurately? I have a theory which no one can disprove. All our crops and animals are pumped with female hormones (oestrogen). That is why you have lambs producing tiplets and twins instead of singletons.; plants and crops fruiting in abundance. This gets into the food chain and water supplies. In addition the use of the 'pill' also gets back into the system. There is also strong evidence of this as fish in our rivers are commonly now showing signs of being bi-sexual. No wonder then that males are morphing into females. I am not homophobic, but do not shirk the issue by saying that society is more open and more people can come out without fear.

For the past few months I have been having conflicting thoughts whether if I am a confident person or not. At times I feel confident, I would look in a mirror and I would feel good at the person staring back, but other times I feel as if my confidence certainly vanished.

Is it possible that a person can feel confident one day and not the other? Is confidence just a matter of thought that our brain plays tricks on us?

I am a 20 year old student in college, so I guess I am at an age where things can seem very confusing.

I want to get into UIC. My GPA is 3.57 but......my ACT score is 19 (I really don't know why). I would take the ACT again to get a better score, but I want to apply early so they can see that I'm interested in getting into their university. I want to study software engineering concentration. Do you think I can get accepted into UIC? please tell me what my chances are.

I got a couple of weeks before going to the training. I'm really not sure of the currunt employment status because i'm not getting any money from the military right now until the day i JOIN. Unless the joining task is processed at training site, I'm not joined yet. So, shouldn't i supposed to get unemployment until I leave? I posted some poems on this site and then this chick comes along and without my permission edits all my bad grammar, punctuation etc and then leaves a comment saying I should change these words to something else when they are perfectly fine the way they are.

Do you think that's rude?

Hey there, I reciently started going to a homeopath who uses an ohm meter ( chinese style medicine i guess...) and confirmed many different ailments /systems out of whack. I began a regimine to fix the major ones of homeopathic meds and I feel bloated as all get out, and had constipation ( not due to meds...) seemingly resulted in strep throat? ( culture was neg, though????!) and Landed me on a round of antibiotics! I feel a mess and don't quite know what to think of this. Any suggestions, thoughts, encourage/discouragement? The woman I am seeing, well, I guess the initial conductivity test and the ohms and stuff all seemed so "witch doctorish"

My wife and I are married 12yrs. We have 2 beautiful children, ages 3 & 7, but it drives me crazy that my wife won't sit down and talk about our "sex life" and what we can do to improve it. She says its non important and that's all I think about. I've tried to get her to go to counceling with me. I've tried (when the kids are in bed) getting her to watch Talk Sex with Sue Johanson on Sunday nights. We have friends (other couples) that talk about sex when together and even when we all get together. Every time the subject comes up, my wife says, "ok, lets' not discuss this right now.
