From AP report of fighting in Baghdad today:

The military first reported eight dead, then raised the figure to 18, but later returned to the lower figure, explaining that the changes were due to confusion on the battlefield.

Bleichwehl said all the dead had been "identified as hostile" and there was "no collateral damage," the U.S. term for civilian casualties.

But Iraqi police and hospital officials said the dead included a woman and a young boy. Sixteen other people were wounded, including four women and three boys in their early teens who had been sleeping on the roofs to escape the summer heat, an official at Noor Hospital in Shula said.

The Iraqi officials all spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release such information.

My husband and I have been married for almost a year. I am now 7months pregnant. We have been having sex before we got married. My question is how frequent should sex be? Sometimes, we just have it once a month- i mean wer'e still newly weds! He comes home and watches tv and sleeps/ Sometimes I give signs to him but he declines and says he's too tired from work. Recently , he said it's difficult bec. of my growing belly. This is so disappointing since usually men want it and the woman declines! To us, it's the opposite!
What should I do? Sometimes, I hate him for it and I don't talk with him. I don't think he's clueless but I want him to be romantic and fill my needs.

Chris Benoit was the most nice wrestler in the wwe, said by many WWE superstars. I even heard on eof them say that Chris would fly home even for a hour just so he would see his son and wife. I am firm in my beliefs, but does anyone out there respect people who challenge your beliefs? I knock head with Chi Guy almost daily, and Longhaired Freaky Person. I've been dating this guy for 2 months now. We quickly became best friends and we do everything together. We sleep in the same bed take each other to work. Everytime I make plans to just stay home and veg in front of my tv I end up with him. We have tons in common. When is it ok to ask what we are? When is it ok to expect an answer? I've asked before, when the green monster of jealousy poped out of me. All I got then was, "We're best friends and lovers." Sounds like a crock of **** to me but with this man I've adandoned my better judgement. I want commitment. Is it ok to expect a straight answer at this point or should I give it more time. I don't knwo why I feel like I need to label what we have.... well I kinda know why. Completely at a loss here. Help! I don't know what to do about this man. Just be friends and emotionally distance myself or stick with it and see what pans out?

If you even think this question might apply to you then why do you not grant the same respect to all other faith-founded enterprises (what you likely call cults)?

Let me try to clarify definitions ...
When I'm sitting on the side of the road in a car and can't go anywhere because the gas tank is empty, that is a FACT, recognizable by ANYONE anywhere in the world .... I don't have to have FAITH in it, I know it to be true

Compared to something so basic and obvious, why would FAITH merit "respect" by anyone?

I really want to burn sweetly scented candles and oils in my apartment to make it smell nice. However, we are having a slight roach problem (partially due to being on the first floor of the building), and I was wondering what charecteristic of food attracts cockroaches. For example, would the sweet scent of my candles lead the cockroaches to believe that there is food (i.e. sweets) where I am really burning the candles/oils. We have put traps out, and are planning on putting out tablets, but I would really like the reassurance that my using candles will not attract more roaches. Thanks!

OK, I want my 6-pack back. One would think I know how to do it, but I don't. I was a swimmer, on the team, and there is no way I'm going to swim as much - I have a day job.
I need something serious. Knee-up are OK, but doing like 50 of them still doesn't do much. Pilates are fun, but maybe i don't have the right routine, cause the one I have is too easy.

you and your man are at a baseball game that is really crowded. then, the game ends [but its a fireworks show afterward so no body leaves]. he takes you out onto the field becasue he said he wanted to talk to the players [hes friends with some of them] so youre walking out to field and you get all the way onto the pitchers mound and for some odd reason all the players are standing around you [like on the dirt part outside the grass] and youre sooo confused. everyone in the crowd is staring. but before you ahve time to think about what is happening he gets down on one knee and proposes. of course he has a microphone on so the whole stadium heard it. then, when you say yes, the entire crowd cheers and you notice the whole thing was on the big screen!!! and as soon as you kiss the fireworks go off =]

then just when you thought it couldnt get any better, you realize that your entire family was in the crowd all along!!!
