I was walking through a desert and there were three snakes in a ditch. Two of them were gardener snakes and the other was a cobra. I wasn't bitten, but I captured them and put them in a jar. I didn't wake up during the dream.

Snakes have often been associated with the Goddess and the aspect of occult wisdom. That is why both analogies combined in the Garden of Eden myth were a lashing out at the Asherah cults among the 12 tribes of Israel. Wisdom can be tempting yes, but most people are afraid of learning new things and experiencing other aspects of spirituality - when you are bitten in a dream, it's this wisdom being forced on you without your acceptance. Of course, it can be freightening until you grow accustomed to higher perception. To not be a little nervous as you grow would prove your ego is exceeding your common sense.

Well, according to some people, when you encounter a snake in your dreams, it means you must be careful. They say someone will betray you in any possible way...
don't know if this is true....but many people told me about this
but i don't think it's proven yet
